Hello all Jung Kim Martial Arts families! I am very thankful to all of Jung Kim's martial arts families for supporting us during the pandemic. I appreciate your dedication to the Dojang and feel especially blessed to be a member of this community. All students are required to wear a mask or a face cover.
2. All students are required to sanitize their hands before and after class. 3. Unfortunately, due to space restrictions, parents and guests will not be able to observe class from inside the school. 4. All changing rooms are closed and bathrooms will be limited, so students are encouraged to come dressed for class.

Tae Kwon Do is not just training in kicking, punching and self defense. It is far more even than training in mental/physical coordination. A major feature of the art is the development of a certain spirit which carries over into all aspects of life. If there exists a means through which one could secure a stable, peaceful life, it would have to be based upon a harmony between oneself and nature.
Team members, Master Kim work very hard regardless of whether the audience numbers 100 or 9,000. The team always seem to perform beautifully no matter what the circumstances. If you are interested in having the Elite Demo Team perform for your function, please contact Master Kim at the North-side location.

Master Kim and his team are truly amazing. Its way more than just Martial Arts. You can tell and FEEL that they care for the kids they're training. They were the only place out of a handful I called that would take both of my boys because my youngest was 5. Every place except them said a 5 year old would not be ready but Master Kim was willing to give my boy a chance. And he's doing SO good! So glad we found this little gem! As parents, we love it! The kids love it! It's a win/win for all!

I have been a student here for going on 8 years. I am a proud black belt, Master Kim is like family to me. He has taught me so much, I believe I am a better student and person because he is a positive figure in my life I look up to. He has taught me to protect myself and know I can accomplish things I am normally too shy to do. I am proud student of Jung Kim’s. He cares very much about us.

Master Kim is not only a Taekwondo Grand Master, he is a family man. In our years at Jung Kim’s Martial Arts, I have seen first hand how a real love and care for the student instills the confidence and mental strength it takes to get through the world today as we know it.
My children have been students at the north side dojang for the past 8 years. In that time I have seen my girls self confidence, bravery and respect grow significantly as they become young teenagers. My oldest daughter has taken the self defense and restraint taught at the dojang, to start anti-bullying campaigns and programs

$800 for a black belt? Outrageous, definite lack of teaching any sort of self defense, these people are here for MONEY not your learning self-defense. There are plenty of other schools in Spokane that value self-defense, & are worth your time. Don't buy a belt, you earn that.

Former Student that studied for a year. This school is good for kids as an activity and to teach self discipline, and to even meet kids outside of school.
However. This is not a good school if you actually want to learn how to fight. In fact when I went they use to charge me for everything it seemed, and even upgraded my last belt even though I never learned the form. Nobody taught me. "Oh you dont know it? Well stand in front of everyone and I'll tell you each move you're sopposed to do and then just give you the belt."
They have no sense of what each student knows it seems. Didn't even teach

Both my girls have been a student of Master Kim for 3 years. They started at 4 (just turned 4) & at just 6. He had taught them confidence and self control. Both of my girls have gained a strong moral compass along with his teachings and our parenting. Bullying is a big issue in schools ever before now with social media that can follow children to their home lives, I believe my girls are much less likely to be a target, who wants to mess with a almost black belt/future black belt? They also will be able to defend themselves from other situations, my girls will stick up for other kids as well.

My five year old daughter is with the school for more than a year and loving it. I have a thirteen year old son whom was in a Karate school in Reno six year ago. We had to pay $90/month for group lesson. Private lessons were the must and at least 30 min lesson once a week cost another $50 monthly. He was with the school for 2 years until we moved up to Spokane. Unfortunately, Karate is so ubiquitous but yet no uniformity my son had to lower his belt if he wanted to join one of the karate schools here. I contacted 3 schools via email, got no reply. So we decided to give up on Karate. Back then,
