Emergency C-Section at 5 am. Dr Bell and Genevieve made a great team. Momma and 10 pups saved. I was allowed to stay and help.

Respectful of age. I am 82 and my dog is 16 and very ill. They were kind,
efficient, did not rush even though very busy.I knew when I left they had provided the best of care available.

The people at Alta Sierra Veterinary Hospital really care about your pets. And they are always willing to help, answer your questions and find the best way to help you with your pets needs. Having 4 pets I’m glad I take them here for all of Their needs! My pets and I always feel welcomed. It might take a little time with how busy they are. But as expected with a place that is so popular. Thank you to all the Doctors and their staff!

Two weeks ago I had to put my friends dog down. All of the people here treat you like you are part of their family…because to them you are. Two days ago, I found myself here again with my 16 year old pitbull. She received a throughout examination and we were out the door. My dog will probably outlive me.

I have never seen a grosser case of negligence in my entire life. If you’re reading reviews I’m hoping you are a fellow pet lover. If so please heed my warning in NEVER taking your pet to this veterinarian. I had the misfortune of working with not one but two incompetent vets that prolonged my pets suffering unnecessarily. My cat was only six months old and started to feel unwell. I promptly made an appointment where he was seen and admitted for the WRONG issue. Next day he was released with caution signs to watch out for. When these signs started to present themselves I called the emergency

We bring all 4 dogs we own to this facility. You may not get in the same day, but reasonably, we do get in. Their prices are, what we feel, on the high side, but one of our dogs had a lot of issues from his allergies and skin infection. The vets are very knowledgeable and spend as much time with you as you need. The staff, I also found to be friendly, knowledgeable and kind.

We had an urgent care need with our Golden. We were able to secure an appointment same day, even though we are from out of the area. The doctor, techs, and front office staff were fantastic. They took a lot of time with our girl and sent us home with supplies that helped us to be able to handle her care at our vacation spot. Highly recommend (and I’m pretty picky!😉)

Alta Sierra vet hospital has staff that are friendly and outgoing. They like animals of all kinds. They have good hours (12 hrs a day six days a week) and they use modern lab testing methods. They explain things well and have a good attitude towards patients and "parents".
The staff is efficient and polite which makes things better when your pet isn't well.
