I'm not having the best time with this tax preparer. We've been working together for at least 3 tax years. Communication has been inconsistent. Emails go unanswered sometimes. Phone calls are with staff that often can't answer my questions. I gave them all my info this year. When they presumably did my taxes, they sent me a bill, but nothing else. I was never given the option go over it. There was no confirmation that they sent it, when they sent, what they sent, or what I owe. I had to ask for a copy of the return they worked on. I am not feeling super confident with them at this point.

Despite contacting this company in January, uploading all requested documents, by mid-March as well as a phone consult in February with the person I thought was supposed to prepare my taxes - heard nothing from them by mid-April - except that my tax return was "in the Que". Emails and phone calls were not returned. I finally located a tax preparer who agreed to meet with me less than 24 hours after I contacted him - he plans to have my return completed in 2 weeks. I do not recommend this business!

If you have a small business then they were a great company to work with (less than 10 employees). If you are a middle sized business, STAY AWAY. They are terrible at communication and you might reach out to them 8-10x before you will get a response to someone from 6 months prior (IRS letter-multiple times). I have had multiple CPAs and my experience with them was by far the worst.

Sundara and her team are exceptional from the moment you walk into their office. I love the atmosphere and friendliness. I am a small business owner for 20 years and finally made that big step to get more organized. I enlisted their help to help me do my books and use quickbooks. They will help teach you or do the books for you, depending on what you want. They have been so patient and helpful. They responded to my questions promptly, even during the middle of tax season. They were up-front with pricing and simply professional in every way. I highly recommend their services!

I first sat down with Sundhara in 2018 to answer general questions about a possible non profit dream I had. I knew absolutely nothing about taxes and all those forms. She made things make sense and even answered questions about my family’s taxes. So of course we went with Serenity Tax this year to do our family taxes. Her team was very kind and helpful. When I went in to turn in all my info and forms the staff person offered to make copies right away in case I needed to take the forms with me. They kept open communication the entire time as well! Serenity Tax and & Accounting has prepared our business and personal taxes for the last several years and they do a fantastic job. The work is very thorough, timely and provided at a great rate. One thing that I really appreciate is the employees are always up to date on the latest changes to the state and federal tax laws. They go the extra mile to ensure that they live up to their name by taking the stress out of filing taxes!
