Services
Dr. Gary Smith has been a patient of Chiropractic all his life. He grew up in Monroe, Washington racing motorcycles and competing in Martial Arts. Dr. Smith's parents, Gene and Peggy Smith had a firm belief in Chiropractic care early on, which helped him maintain his active lifestyle. He attended Life University in Atlanta, Georgia where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic.
Active Life Chiropractic provides chiropractic care in Enumclaw WA and the surrounding area. Our office staff is more than happy to help answer any questions or concerns and get you started on the journey to better health. Simply call the clinic to schedule an appointment and/or ask any questions you may have prior to coming in.
If it has been some time since your last adjustment or it's your first adjustment ever, you may experience some soreness or discomfort. It can feel similarly to the soreness you would get from working out. This is a normal reaction to Chiropractic adjustments. Remember your Chiropractor is making adjustments to areas of your spine that may not be moving well and or are in the wrong position.
Misalignments can also lead to herniation, headaches, insomnia, carpal-tunnel syndrome, and many other aggravating symptoms. Without proper treatment, injuries may heal but are likely to not heal optimally and you could be left with an area of the body that is prone to re-injury and recurring symptoms.
Whether or not a tall building can withstand a storm or earthquake is determined by its stability and support at every level. This is also true for the human body, if a higher level of performance is your goal, then consider putting your foundation on a level playing field and this will benefit every level of the structure above it.

Dr. smith took x-rays of my mid and lower back and I was amazed at seeing the issues cause from injuries and heavy lifting of fifty five years
As a mortician where you can’t always lift correctly! Gary’s working with these issues has worked and he has given me stretches that keep me going at 81 years!

I can honestly say Dr Smith gave me a new lease on life.
When I first injured my back in 2019 my mom took me to him and got me in for same day x-rays and exam. He diagnosed me with scoliosis and my herniated disc. On top of working with me to recover my health, he worked with me through out my entire (unexpected) second pregnancy. He's the only reason why I'm still walking, healing and living my best life possible.
It's abundantly clear that Dr. Smith cares about me and my family. He adjusts both of my daughters (as seen in the pictures). My oldest daughter has much better balance and my youngest

I was having problems with my lower back, and went in to see if he could help adjust my back. I didn’t have an appointment but they got me right in anyways, they were very kind and had fast service. The adjustment was life changing, I have never had one before and I felt better than I have in years after just one! So I scheduled two more the following day! Very reasonably priced and Gary is such a intelligent and nice guy. Love talking to him, he really knows what he’s doing. My whole entire family goes multiple times a week I would recommend this to anyone! Thanks Gary!

In my opinion, Dr. Gary Smith is a miracle worker. When I first started going to him, my life was about getting from one chair to the next as quickly as possible. Now after seeing him for about 3 months, I am able to stand for up to 20 minutes without pain, and the pain that I suffered when I turned my head to the left is all but gone.. I would recommend Gary to anyone suffering any kind of pain. He can help!
