Services
Valley Vet and Cascade East are well-established, full-service, small and large animal veterinary hospitals providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with referral practices when special diagnostic or surgical procedures are required.
It is the love of animals and serving people that led me into the career of veterinary medicine. Dr. Hayden graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, practiced for two years in Moses Lake before starting at Valley Veterinary Hospital. In 2003 Dr. Hayden purchased Valley Veterinary Hospital, and shortly afterwards expanded the Cle Elum clinic, Cascade East Animal Clinic, into a full-time office.
A fund created for and dedicated to helping animals in need of urgent care and life saving procedures whose owners have limited financial resources. By donating to this fund your compassion will be reflected in the appreciative furry eyes of those who benefit. A great way to pass on the compassion is to donate a monetary memorial in the name of your loved ones.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Many people have questions about various aspects of their pet's surgery, and we hope this information will help. It also explains the decisions you will need to make before your pet's upcoming surgery. Today's modern anesthetic monitors have made surgery much safer than in the past.

Here at Valley Vet and Cascade East, we recommend a thorough physical exam on your pet before administering anesthetics, to ensure that there is no hidden conditions that may increase complication rates. We also adjust the amount and type of anesthetic used depending on the health of your pet. Preanesthetic blood testing is important in reducing the risk of anesthesia.

I was told they are not taking any new animal patients. I hope my dog doesn't get sick or have an emergency.

Went to help a friend put his sweet old kitty to sleep. With the virus protocol it was really hard to do because you can't actually be there in the end. The staff was very compassionate and considerate. Very professional given the circumstances.

Great experience for my late mother-in-laws dog. They took care of the old gal with such care and gave us explanations of what was ailing her and remedies. So happy with this vet.

I have been a client since 2001 and they have always been able to help me and accommodate my needs. Dr Hayden is by far the best vet for horses I could ever imagine. He has helped me step by step put horses down and go through the grieving process. Recently our dog was hit by a car and we had to go there they were very unwilling to help her and I felt like they just wanted to euthanize to make it easy for them. They didn’t help us find somewhere to take her since they were very unwilling instead we had to call over 12 different places just to find somewhere for her to go. We ended up having to
