Education is the foundation for any doctor. Dr. Alvarez earned both of his degress from Indiana University. Prior to graduating from there with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1996, Dr. Alvarez earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. So it comes as no surprise that he taught part-time at the IU School of Dentistry for 17 years.

Dr. Alvarez and his staff are truly the best in Hamilton County. Dr. Alvarez treats his patients with care and concern and spends a great deal of time listening to questions and providing the most helpful feedback. I also never worry about experiencing pain, as Dr. Alvarez is gentle, unlike other dentists. I always have a “five star” experience and recommend him to all of my friends and family (and strangers, if asked).

I appreciate that 100% of the staff is COVID vaccinated! Thank you to all the staff for doing your personal part to keep your patients safe. I shopped around to many dentists years ago until I found Dr. Alvarez. His practice has not disappointed, and I feel comfortable with him should I have any real dental problems in the future.

This practice came highly recommended and for very good reason! The staff is friendly, welcoming, caring, and professional. It had been several years since my last cleaning, but Samantha was amazingly gentle. Dr. Alvarez explained the one issue that needs attention and he & his team made me feel very well cared for.

I have been with the practice for years. I love the friendly staff, the family feel atmosphere, and that they run on time. Their reminder of appointment system is awesome as well. I see Sam and she is the best. So friendly and fun. Dr Alvarez always pops in to see you at every appointment, and when I have a dental issue they are always accommodating!! Just the place I send my friends!!

Everyone I met at the office including Dr. Alvarez were attentive and listen well to what my needs were. They took time to discuss my options and what was best for me. It was my first visit as I moved here from out of state, and feel that it was a great choice. I have planned some work for the near future, and feel better about the overall health of my mouth, and my direction forward in taking care of my teeth!

He’s definitely one of the best dentist I’ve been to. He doesn’t try to find things wrong with your teeth to make money. He actually cares about his patients and offers great recommendations.
Everyone in his office is very friendly and professional.
I recently moved to Greenfield and I drive all the way to Carmel because I haven’t met anyone here that makes me wanna make my commute shorter. I highly recommend!
