Emjayography LLC is a growing photography studio located in Taneytown, Maryland owned and operated by Michael "Emjay" Redding. Emjayography first got it's name in 2009 when I first started discovering my passion for photography/videography. Emjayography was originally established to help musicians & models grow their following with stunning photographs.
After about a year I decided to go on my own and got a 2 year resident gig Djing at Colonial on Thursday nights while also taking on a Saturday night here and there. In 2017 I started picking up more gigs at the Down Under in Westminster. Down Under soon became my new home Djing for them every Friday & Saturday night as a Resident DJ for the last year or so.

Had my first shoot with Emjay Photography the other day and already can’t wait to work with him again! Very professional but easy going and fun! Had a number of edits sent to me by the end of the evening and they all turned out amazing. Whether you’re just starting out modeling or a professional model, either way Emjay is someone you should work with !

MJ is AMAZING. he makes you feel beautiful, during and after the photos. His photos give you such an amazing confidence boost, along with his coaching during the photos. If you are EVER feeling down on yourself, MJ is who you need to bring a smile to your face, about yourself. EVERY time I will go with MJ, for ANY photos!

Highly recommended! From scheduling to get photos done around the weather, figuring out a location, to getting them done and back it was all such an easy experience. Very quick to respond, so easy to work with it and it was just an all around wonderful experience and I now I have the most beautiful photos of my daughter and I. We weren’t originally planning to hire a videographer, but our parents insisted, and we are so glad they did. Emjayography worked with us to understand what we wanted and then went way above and beyond what we asked for. The video that they provided us is simply amazing and really captured the highlights of our perfect day.
