I'm actually quite surprised to see the other review here as my experience couldn't have been more opposite. With Kirk and Kirk, my taxes have never been late or anything less than smooth in the process.
Realistically, I'm not sure some people understand what goes into Taxes and Tax season and perhaps this sparks some of the general confusion here. Imagine being a mechanic but every car you service that year is to be done within a 30-day window...

Kirk & Kirk has been the firm that my family has used for years. I send my tax information in early, and usually receive a friendly phone call within a few days to a week to confirm some items. My taxes returns are then prepared and directly deposited into my account in a timely manner. Please be warned that they do charge a competitive fee for the area, but it is worth the service that you get. I highly recommend Kirk & Kirk!

Avoid this CPA firm at all costs. I have been with them for several years, and they have NEVER completed my taxes on time, despite having all documentation over a month in advance (and well before their requested date for submission). Countless unnecessary extensions each and every year. They don't answer emails or phone calls. Fred Kirk is particularly rude. Not sure what his problem is, but this is the most unprofessional business that I have ever dealt with. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for several years, but no more. My patience has totally run out. Save yourself the aggravation
