Our instructors teach you as your level. If you are beginner, you start learning the very basics such as how to bow to the opponent, how to do Seiza, or how to wear the uniforms at first. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the first half is focused on basic drills, and the second half is Jigeiko (sparring with each other).
Enshin Karate Kids Class A is for kids who are ages 7-14. Here, we teach the very basics of Enshin Karate such as kihon, kata and introductory Sabaki techniques. Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art that was developed early in the twentieth century by Morihei Ueshiba (1883-1969). Aikido means "the way of harmony with the universal principle of nature." Aikido is derived from Japan's traditional budo (the way of martial arts), but moves beyond martial practice and becomes a path where the keen edge of martial art fosters spiritual growth.
Iaijutsu is the classical Japanese martial art focusing on using the Japanese long sword started with the sword in its sheath, emphasizing awareness, the speed of the draw, and proper cutting form. Iai-jutsu is a major part of the curriculum taught in the Suio-ryu Iai Kenpo, a koryu bujutsu (ancient system of martial arts) now offered as part of the Butokuden family of martial arts.

Very Clean and fantastic instructors. My kids have attended and observed many other dojo and by far this place teaches the kids and adults self-respect. Being respectful of others. It’s very upsetting to see an assistant student teaching Woodbury taekwondo and find out that this same student bullies fellow students at his school.
