My husband had mixed experience here. My husband suffers from S curve scoliosis and was successfully improving his curve using a Schroth physical therapist in NY. We moved to Boulder and immediately lined up appointments with Avanti. The treatment was not as effective. His prior schroth therapist coached him through strenuous core strengthening and breathing exercises coupled with spine elongation in positions specific to his curve, minute movements and breathing for spinal correction. We were excited to continue the work. However Avanti was a disappointment. He would show up paying the $130 an

Went for the Schroth sessions with Laura for my scoliosis. I can't say how helpful they were as they won't fix the scoliosis, but potentially will keep it from progressing. I do think it was likely a waste of time and $ because the exercises are odd and some require odd accoutrements and it will be hard to keep up these exercises.
But I did want to warn folks to NOT let Laura do nerve glide stretching on your arm. She does it too hard and when I got back to my car, I realized I couldn't bend my arm without pain and I had pain in my elbow for at least a week. My PT said that nerve

Bottom line I am now pain free and never think about the issue I was facing (except to tell this story). A couple of months ago I saw my doctor complaining about a tender knee and asked for some physical therapy sessions to fix it before it got worse. At that time I had determined my own PT exercises and figured "I could be doing more harm than good". I started working with Jessica Bishop at Avanti Therapy the next week. Jessica was a perfect match for my knee because she specializes in such stuff and kinda geeks out about it. I think she can talk about that stuff all day long. She gave me the

I would hands down recommend Jessica Bishop and Avanti Therapy. I have been going this past year (both before and during the pandemic) for rehab from 2 shoulder surgeries. I credit Jessica wholly with my progress! Between the exercises, soft tissue work, and one-on-one Pilates lessons, I am finally pain free! Thank you Jessica and Avanti Therapy for letting me get back to my work as a violinist!

My husband, daughter and I have been seeing physical therapists at Avanti Therapy for many years. Avanti's therapists are outstanding, professional and friendly and we've always had success with our various treatments. Just prior to COVID, I was seeing Kelly Duda, whose expertise includes detailed knowledge of the hands, for a hand injury. As I was finally healed from that injury, I fell off my bike and injured the same hand. Because it was at the beginning of COVID, Kelly suggested we use Telehealth. Initially, I wasn't quite sure how physical therapy could be handled virtually, but it worked

Avanti Therapy has been great for both myself and my son. My son and I have both been doing telehealth appointments during the pandemic with Jessica Bishop, which has gone really well. I’ve also done several running gait analyses with Jessica. She’s very knowledgeable and great to work with. I’ve also seen Abigail Beattie for years for several injuries. She’s an expert in her field and great to work with.

Having had a significant amount of PT in my life and in my children's lives, I have to say, this clinic is exceptional. They had a very diverse group of PT specialties, and also offer Pilates for core strengthening as PT. I appreciate that this office offers to call me when They have PT openings for the therapists you see. Their sessions are an hour long and I have increased my core strength since beginning my treatment here. That is per my orthopedist. In my case I have stability issues and their therapists have given me specific stabilizing exercises to do at home which has benefited

Avanti changed the course of my recovery.
Attentive, hands-on and caring. Avanti, and Julie Edelman (PT, DPT) in particular, evaluated me post c-spine surgery, reviewed my med records and prior PT therapy routine and changed the course of my recovery. They moved me away from the habitrail-like PT routine prescribed by my former high-volume PT clinic and designed a course of treatment and exercise for me, my condition and my goals (not just what the computer program spit out at my prior clinic). I am now off the treadmill approach that felt like it was going nowhere and am on track towards improvement

I've had three years of recurring issues in my back due to a burst disc, so unfortunately I've been to several different physical therapists across several years and two states. Avanti was recommended to me, but after only two visits I decided to cancel my future appointments and go looking for another provider.
The biggest issue was the therapist who I didn't find had a good "bedside manner" and also didn't provide any pain relief, etc.. When I first "met" her, she came up to the front desk as I was checking in and dealing with a paperwork issue (read

I was referred to Avanti by an acquaintance. I am very happy I went to see what they could do to help me. I had broken my collarbone and my shoulder was frozen after being immobilized. Laura was amazing! She is a very devoted therapist. At the beginning I wasn't really sure I would ever be able to get full motion of my arm back but with her knowledge and good work along with the exercises she had me do on my own I have full motion again.
The people at Avanti and there scheduling system was first rate.
Thank you!
