My name is Danielle Jacobson, the owner and sole practitioner. I have been a physical therapist for over 25 years. My career began in 1992 with Sarasota Memorial Hospital working in Acute General Surgical, Cardiac and Long-Term Rehabilitation. From 1994 to 2014, I have worked in several outpatient orthopedic, chiropractic, and podiatrists clinics.
I believe in consistent learning and utilizing the latest techniques to provide patients with relief and freedom from injury. Continuous education and diverse work experience has helped me in implementing techniques and dynamic exercise. I started Angel Hands Physical Therapy in 2015 with a mission to deliver a higher level of care in a quiet and relaxing environment.

Services
Fluidotherapy, also known as fluidized therapy, is a high-intensity heat modality that consists of a dry whirlpool of finely divided solid particles suspended in a heated air stream. The machine delivers forced dry heated air to flow around and through small granulated particles. This causes the particles to stimulate the skin and tissue of an injured limb, such as a hand or foot.
Infrared light therapy is offered here at Angel Hands as another form of treatment for your ailments. This innovative therapy is used to provide relief specifically for acute or chronic pain. It utilizes the healing power of specific wavelengths of light. Infrared lights are delivered to the injured areas of the body and other areas where you are feeling pain.
Micro-point stimulation, also called needle-less acupuncture, is perfect for individuals who do not want to experience needles pricking or poking their body. Using the latest equipment from Dolphin, Angel Hands offers this specialized treatment. Micro-current point stimulation is a non-invasive, drug-free type of care that uses concentrated, low-frequency, direct current to vital acupuncture points within the body.
There are many potential causes of spinal compression in the body. Incorrect seating and standing posture for prolonged period of time can result in pressure or compression on the spinal cord and / or nerve roots. At Angel Hands, we offer spinal decompression therapy to treat these issues. This non-surgical therapy involves the use of a specially made traction table to intermittently, consistently stretch the spine.

Angel Hands Physical Therapy with Danielle exceeded my expectations by providing relief from pain related to spinal stenosis and disc degeneration that had been ongoing for over 3 years. Danielle will give you the time needed to help your recovery with appropriate hands on therapy combined with modern techniques to reduce pain. Danielle does not pass you off to an assistant, pad your visit to take up time, and will spend up to 90 minutes each visit helping you to recover.

Danielle is knowledgeable, professional, intuitive and kind. She was able to hone in my maladies and treat them using a multitude of methods. I was much improved after going for treatment at Angel Hands. I highly recommend this physical therapy practice and send a thank you for the wonderful treatment.

I have had experiences with other physical therapy for musculoskeletal issues with good results. However, non of my previous experiences offered laser light or fascia release therapies. Danielle is an intuitive therapist who recognized I would benefit from both laser light and fascia therapies. She is not a one-size-fits-all therapist. She individually develops a plan of therapy by sincerely listening to what the client tells her and integrates available therapies accordingly.
I rate her practice 4.5. Why the .5? Well, it’s an aesthetic point for me-simplify the office decor using Fengshui principles

I was looking for a therapist to help me with pain in my right leg that has occurred for the last few years. The pain was to the point that I could hardly walk my dog. I choose Angel Hands because of the great reviews on Google. After working with Danielle for 4 weeks, my pain has greatly subsided. Danielle is more dynamic and holistic in her approach. She used different techniques in calming my tension points. I like that she spends time listening to my issues. I would highly recommend her for any issue that requires the expertise of a physical therapist.

I am so GLAD that I found this WONDERFUL Physical Therapist!! Danielle not only is an Angel, but can work great miracles!! I obtained pain relief after 4 sessions, compared to another facility which took at least 10+ sessions, for a similar issue!! I really love & appreciate her 1:1 physical therapy approach, not having an aide/ assistant work with me, instead!! She is a little drive for me, but so WORTH it!! Thank you for your care & great physical therapy experience!!
