Dr. Victor Rusenescu, DPT is a native of Southern Orange County, California. He received his doctoral degree in 2007 from Loma Linda University. He started his passion for providing quality care in 1999 and has over 19 years' experience in the field of physical therapy.
In addition to treating patients, Victor spends time building knowledge, both in Physical Therapy and related subjects such as sporting articles, food and diet recipes and new findings on techniques and strategies to continually advance his practice.This gives him the capacity and intuition to make clinical judgments and treatments to help specific clients when needed.

We are dedicated to optimizing results for all our clients in less visits as we take a natural, holistic approach to our physical therapy treatment sessions. This results in decreased medications and decreased need for invasive procedures and surgeries. We take an integrated approach to health care and strive to get to the root cause of the problem.
We understand that arriving at a doctor's office for the first time can be nerve racking. If you've never experienced physical therapy before, you may not know what to expect when you come to our Newport Beach physical therapy office for the first time. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces and names, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience.
We accept all major PPO Medical Health insurances including Medicare and Workers Compensation. OccuNet (covering Major League Baseball Players, UFC, Major League Soccer, NFL Teams, and NCAA universities). We can verify your specific plan for your insurance to be sure we can accept it or offer a complete cash package for your physical therapy needs.

I had a my right ACL replaced (using a slice of my own patellar tendon). After the surgery, the intensive rehab was in the schedule.
I was lucky to be introduced to Dr. Rusenescu and started the rehab under his outstanding care. He is very knowledgeable and a great sport in every way!
I've played countless different sports for my whole life and was worried my knee would never be the same again; WRONG!
My knee is just as good as it was before the accident, no limitations, no pain, no stiffness, nothing.

Excellent staff! Fully dedicated to their patients and genuinely care. You will feel like you are a superstar here and not just another patient going through a revolving door.
Also their emphasis on strength training post therapy helps patients maintain and get better so they don't lose the momentum of their gains once the therapy is over.

Thank you OCPT and especially Tyler for restoring the flexibility of my left shoulder and giving me nearly a painless full range of motion. After being diagnosed with Rotator Cuff and Calcific Tendonitis as well as Impingement Syndrome, the PT that was given was spot on for a 90% recovery. The warm and friendly environment of the facility made me look forward to the workouts rather than hoping for a delay. Thanks again!!!

OCPT is the best PT I have ever done. After having reconstructive shoulder surgery I was struggling to do most basic tasks. After a couple sessions at OCPT, I could already feel improvement. OCPT will give you a personalized plan, individual attention, and the tough love it takes to get you back to doing the activities you love. I have worked with Victor, Haze, and Rachel and would recommend them all very highly. They will make time for you outside of sessions as well and give you exercises to do at home to speed up the recovery process. I recommend OCPT to anyone looking to recover from minor

Had such an amazing experience at Orange County Physical Therapy! Had the pleasure of working with David and Haze. Both of them put a lot of care into my shoulder and helped me progress to a good place. Highly recommend this place. This was my fourth shoulder surgery so I know what Iām talking about.š

OCPT has been a key player on the rehabilitation of my broken fibula. I am so glad I found them! The entire staff is amazing and the care is the best. I love OC Physical Therapy! After going to a different physical therapy office for a month and not seeing any improvements, I decided to get a second option and I am so happy I did. Haze specifically has been amazing in helping me with my hip, back and wrist issues that have not seen improvement for years. Haze is also very professional, knowledgeable, positively energized, accommodating to my schedule, and if he in unavailable, David helps me out and is great as well! Definitely my go-to physical therapy office going forward.
