Alice Che is a San Francisco based wedding photographer who specializes in capturing emotional, intimate and romantic imagery for couples in love. Alice was excellent in every way, she took charge and made the day go so much smoother! EVERYONE was complimenting her hard work, and couldn't stop talking about how eager she was to photograph every single moment and move around to get every single part of the day captured.

I was born and raised up in the East Bay and moved down to the Peninsula for Stanford. After graduating, I started working at Waymo, Alphabet/Google's self driving car team as a hardware engineer. Balancing two full-time jobs can definitely be a challenge from time-to-time, but I love it! It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart.
I've always been a lover of fairytales and happily-ever-afters, so it's no surprise that I am head over heels in love with shooting weddings. I notice the details. the quiet little things that make each couples' story unique. I feed off of their story, and find immense joy in being able to document the intricacies of their tale in my images.
And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.

We worked with Alice and her team at Alice Che Photographer for both our engagement shoot at the Foothills Nature Preserve in March 2021 and our wedding day at Saratoga Springs in August 2021.
Wedding photography was one of the most important aspects of our wedding to us. So, even though Alice was a bit above our budget, we loved her work and her personality so much that we moved some other stuff around so that we could book here. :)

We hired Alice as the photographer for our wedding (and also our engagement shoot), and we are happy to recommend her! I went through a lot of photographer options before deciding on Alice, and I think she was the right choice. We had two very different settings for our ceremony and reception, a very large family group for portraits, and some special requests for a lot of distinct moments that we wanted captured. Alice is an extremely professional, talented and creative photographer. My wife and I are very... "particular" people; however we had no hesitations deciding to hire Alice for our wedding.
Our outdoor ceremony was held in a public park (i.e. no permits, no pre-planning, super on-the-fly, unknown number of random by-standers). Alice had no troubles dealing with these circumstances.
The reception was in an extremely dark venue and Alice came prepared with strobe lighting to ensure we got quality photos. She even brought special hand-made backdrop paper (that she made herself!) and ring boxes for

Alice is pure talent, and has a true eye for capturing such intricate and special moments. My first time working with her artistry was last year, JUST before the covid19 stay at home order began. With our plans changing almost every hour, she still managed with such grace and an openness to create one last time before the world changed on us. To this very day, her photographs are some of my best work as a florist, captured so delicately through her lens. When looking for photographers, we put together a list of photographers from our venue (Saratoga Springs) and sent around some example pictures to our families to vote. The choice was unanimous, everyone agreed that Alice Che's photographs were by far the best. Her pictures always had gorgeous lighting and the couples looked at ease and natural. Our experience with Alice didn't disappoint. For our engagement shoot, she recommended Rodeo Beach (based on our interest in a beach centered engagement shoot). The beach was absolutely spectacular and the lighting in the evening was perfect!

Alice shot our wedding and engagement photos over the past twelve months and we could not be happier with what the results were. The mix of formal and candid photos helped give us a full spread of memories that include some favorites right out of the middle of the reception.
She's super flexible and open to any specific requests, odd shooting list, or venue change. Her suggestion to go down to the beach and take a few shots resulted in some of the most iconic photos of the whole day.

Alice did our wedding photos and engagement shoot and we could not be happier with the results. She took the time to listen to us and really understood the vibe we were going for so the pictures look like pictures of us instead of being stiff or seeming unnatural.
