I started my dental career as a Registered Dental Assistant graduating from DVC and joined Smile Makers Dental Care - 29 years ago! I enjoy cooking, traveling, and cycling, both indoors and out, having completed the Tour de Cure for Diabetes, a 50-mile ride. I really enjoy my job and working with Dr. Ewing.

I will never go anywhere else again. I have super sensitive teeth, getting my teeth cleaned was like torture. That is definitely not how I felt here. The hygienist was so careful and mindful of what I was feeling and my needs, we even shared a few laughs. everyone here is so nice and the environment is very welcoming. Big shout out to Melvin (who works there) for telling me about this place.

I recently moved and have been researching a new practice close to me. I called Smile Makers and I must say, the professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding, especially from Crystelle. This practice is amazing from the moment we walked in . I took my 5 year old son here to get his cavities filled and was greeted by Kim at the front desk. She was very proactive and welcoming us with a warm smile and reassuring me everything will be ok. I just knew she can feel my anxiety about taking my son here. She explained the procedure and gave my son a high five letting him know he's a big boy and they will take good care of him.
She wasn't lying lol. Being a five year old i assumed he would cry or not follow instructions from the staff or the doctor but everyone made him feel

My family has been going here since Dr.Brown was the dentist - 30 years maybe ? and then he retired a long time ago but here I am calling 18 years later after developing this unfounded anxiety about the dentist. At 40 years old I haven't experienced pain but noticed I passed this anxiety to my 7 year old son. I also acknowledged I need to take care of my teeth before I am forced to decided between dentures or implants. I called the office and Judy remembered me! How do you remember me after 18 years !!!! Judy is sweet and just as beautiful as 18 years ago. This woman didn't age but

I originally had a fantastic experience getting my lower wisdom teeth removed, but that all changed. About a month after having my teeth out I experienced a feeling like my head and ears were going to explode. My right side of my jaw also felt immense pressure and pain. I went to Kaiser and they asked if I had any recent surgeries which I did (wisdom teeth removal). My doctor suggested I talk to Dr. Ewing because he might have any ideas on why my nerves in my mouth are messed up. Late one night my crown broke and half fell off and I called and left a message urgently needed to get this taken care of and Dr. Ewing went out of his way to get me in that next morning. His assistants Melvin and Lisa was so gentle and nice and made me a temporary crown to help protect my tooth and above else help with the pain of an exposed tooth. It was my first visit to a dentist since this entire covid experience and not once did I feel unsafe. The office only allowed one patient at a time in the waiting room and had air purifier and the staff is constantly cleaning. Dr. Ewing was able

I haven't been to the dentist in a long time, not so much that I am scared to go just trying to find the time to go. However a friend told me about an office close to my job, I called to make appointment and I spoke with a lovely lady named crystelle and she found a spot for me on my lunch and I am so glad I did call they're amazingly nice, and super knowledgeable. Dr. Ewing so nice and so efficient with his time and capability.
