Gino Spero established Refined Roofing to build on his family's long history of roofing and construction in the Merrimac Valley.
In 1932, Gino's great-grandfather first started a roofing business in Haverhill, MA. Over the years, his grandfather expanded the business by consistently delivering quality service to his commercial and residential clients. Gino's father later became a roofer for his grandfather before he set off to create his own construction business.

This company has top notch customer service from the initial conversation with Katie for scheduling a bid to each and every promptly returned call from the job supervisor during the job. We've had many roofs done over the years & have never had such a hard working, prompt, clean, knowledgeable, friendly crew. They paid attention to detail, cleaned up the area at the end of each very long day, covered all the landscaping close to the house with tarps, and left the area very clean at the end of the job. They really take pride in their work. My husband is very picky with any contractor working on

Summary: The team at Refined Roofing were upfront, professional, transparent, and showed a dedication to delivering a quality product. I would highly recommend the again.
Background: We had a roll roof that was in need of repair (see pic). Due to the pitch of the of the roof the best solution was to put in a rubber roof. The team was able to haul a single 6 mm sheet of rubber material up onto the roof. They set down some extra insulation and then covered the roof with the rubber membraned (see after pic). In addition we had a small shed roof that required re-shingling again the team was professional

These guys are roofing rock stars. I had a roof that was starting to fail on the north side. They were completely sensitive to my situation. The job was scheduled quickly. They completely replaced/installed the new roof in a single day and left the yard looking like they'd never been there. The roof looks great. The price was very fair. The whole experience was fantastic. I would enthusiastically recommend Refined Roofing!

Absolutely recommend Refined Roofing. Matt came out for an on-site estimate and went over all the details and let me review. A few days later he came back and we signed the contract. The crew did excellent job tarping the house and stripping the shingles. Ended up needing many sheets of plywood replaced which they did quickly and took photos of all… the rotted boards. I happened to be there when the building inspector came and even he was impressed with the job they did, particularly the use of ice and water shield around chimneys and valleys. Cleanup was great and quick, no complaints!

Gino was amazing. He is extremely professional and personable. We used him to renovate my mom's 1,500 SF house in Newburyport including, but not limited to, refinishing floors, painting all dark wood trim and doors throughout white (not an easy task) and electrical. He was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and throughout the entire job. He… also helped me avoid unnecessary costs and provided mold remediation in the basement. The house was in rough shape but is now sparkling. Gino definitely delivered and I highly recommend him and his company.
