I came in on a Thursday around 11am. Staff was friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Very informative staff. They did a vey good job on my customized mermaid and beach ball cake. We ordered two of the 6in cakes. The total for both cakes was $50. I first thought the cake would be to small but it was perfect for a personal bday cake. It fed about 6-7 people. I usually order whipped icing but it wasn’t available for the style cake I wanted. However it was really tasty! The only thing I thought was odd was a customer checking his blood sugar( which is perfectly fine to check but just at

Best of all is there attitudes, these women work hard and still greet everyone with a warm friendly smile, and have a way about them that really leaves you feeling you left your occasion in good capable hands. Very good place right here. Them donuts in the morning very good, old school tasting, better sugars, butters, and dough and such, to me a better quality place and just a tastier donut like you use to get. old school quality more like it use to be. Sure them donuts might not be quite as tasty as lets say they were here 12 years ago, but still close enough. the rolls be banging. hidden little gem, don't go telling everyone. I want some rolls to now. Save some for me. People be fighting over these donuts, rolls whatever you wanna call em. Them jelly donuts/rolls be banging. Here is my rating

Went there today to pick up a cake I ordered and noticed they had cheese danish. I haven't been able to find a good cheese danish since Richards bakery on Wells changed over to a pizza place, which I told the owner. Anyway, as I paid for my cake, he put a cheese danish in a bag and gave it to me to try free of charge. It was even better than the ones I used to get at Richards. I'll definitely be going back!

I live in California & was looking for a bakery that would deliver a cake to my boyfriend who plays for the Tin Caps. Chris went above and beyond to make a special cake for his birthday that I couldn't be there for ! She was quick & billed me over the phone which was perfect considering I'm 2,000 miles away . The prices are so good, the boys at the field said the cake was delicious! Another thing I have to point out is she was so kind to put little edible baseballs that I didn't ask for. This bakery CARES about their customers & acknowledge how important the message behind

I had a great experience at Waynedale Bakery. I was in charge of acquiring a cake for a birthday party being held in Fort Wayne. Since I do not live there, I consulted the internet and found Waynedale and the good reviews that others had left about their experience.
I spoke with the baker on the phone and they were very helpful. Reviewing cake flavor, type of icing and offering suggestions on the cake decorations. They suggested a size cake that was perfect for our group.
When I picked up the cake, I was pleasantly surprised at how pretty it was. Later when we cut and tasted the cake I was

I can't say enough great things about Waynedale Bakery and it's owners and staff. With all of the "big box" competitors, they continue to uniquely stand out, by staying true to what they do best! They take the time with their customers to ensure a personal touch, especially with the cakes that are beautifully decorated and so moist and flavorful. The bakery has been around for a long time and the owners make you feel right at home. I also enjoy their pies, muffins and fun seasonal cookies. And my new favorite for making amazing french toast is their challah bread. I would highly

It isnt often you find people willing to help but I found them at the Waynedale Bakery. Some people send flowers but I wanted to send something truly meaningful to my cousins. I wanted to send pie. I am in Central Florida and know only family in Ft. Wayne. I did a google search and found this bakery.
Thank you Chris! My cousins loved the pies. Your mother was so very generous to help with this. I cannot thank you enough

I ordered my daughter's wedding cake from Waynedale Bakery a full 8 months before the wedding. I stopped in about weeks out to pay off the cake and drop off the ribbons, broach and candy diamonds we were using in the decorations. I found it odd that we had to purchase these things ourselves but thought maybe that's what was keeping the price so reasonable. When I gave the baker my name and name of the bride, they pulled the file and found a sheet with our names on it but no picture of the cake, none of the flavors we had picked out, the size or even the wedding date! I was of course

My parents recently purchased a cake from here for my wedding. It wasn't a large cake, just enought for the wedding party and few family and friends to have a slice. Everyone who tried it loved it! It was amazing! The wedding was in the Indianapolis area and multiple people were upset when they learned the bakery was in Fort Wayne and not local. They were upset they would not be able to purchase they're own treats easily from you. :)
