We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own pet, and give them the same loving attention and care.

Services
Cottonwood Veterinary Service provides all of the important routine care your pet needs and is prepared for unexpected health problems or injuries that can arise. We provide thorough physical exams, offer discussions of risks and benefits of vaccines to individualize a vaccination protocol for your pet.
If your dog or cat should become sick or hurt, we are committed to providing quality treatment based on good diagnostic efforts to cure and manage diseases and traumatic events in your pet's life. Some of the diagnostic tools we use are digital radiographs. The benefits of digital radiographs are they available for immediate viewing, can be quickly burned to CD or emailed to a specialist if needed.
Our animal patients get tremendous benefits from routine dental cleanings and treatments. When the gums become inflamed due to the presence of plaque, tartar, and bacteria, the infection can spread to other parts of the body causing serious health problems such as heart and kidney disease. Dental cleanings must be performed under general anesthesia to provide a safe and quality cleaning.
Our goal is to keep your pet healthy into their late years. As your dog or cat, age the focus of care changes to include internal organ monitoring, the prevention and treatment of arthritis. We do this through health exams, periodic laboratory and X-ray diagnostics and through the use of nutritional aids.
We encourage vaccinations, periodic worming and other preventative care to protect not only your pet, but also you from various diseases that may be transmitted. We will create an individualized vaccination protocol for your pet. We recommend starting a vaccination schedule for puppies and kittens at the ages of 8, 12, and 16 weeks of age.

Awful experience at Cottonwood Vet. My dog needed help and they couldn’t careless. Some girl having a bad day was so unprofessional taking her attitude out on my dog. Cottowood should get employees who care about animals (dogs) and don’t push their negative attitudes on to my dog, they sense that stuff…..DONT GO TO COTTONWOOD VET if you love your dog…..and thank you saving my dog from your mismanagement…..

I have never seen such disrespect for my dog. I never write reviews either but felt compelled by how Cottomwood Vet doesn’t care for your dog only their own stuff. If you care as much for you dog as I do, go somewhere else and get a veterinarian who cares with respect.

Dr. Peggy and her staff are always amazing, but she made time in her completely full day to take a look at our dog who had been sick for a couple days. She absolutely saved our boys life, and we are forever grateful.

The staff was kind and caring and Dr. Peggy was wonderful to our ailing kitty, prescribing a stronger pain medication for him. The fee was very reasonable as well. We highly recommend Cottonwood Veterinary Service!

I called for an appointment for my pup turbo. She has Pannus. Appointments take about 10 min for the doc to check that the meds she is on are working, I was unable too make an appointment. So I called to make a new one and because I missed the appointment she told me to fine a new Vet. This Is a disgusting form of practice. Would never recommend to anyone. Do your self a favor and take your family member to someone that has time for the one you love.

My 13 year old anemic corgi border collie was extremely dehydrated and suffering and we brought him here for euthanasia. The doctor took his sweet time logging us in while my dog was gasping for life in excruciating pain in the other room. He tried to run our card 5 TIMES because his machine was slow while my dog was in pain. I really had to ask him to run it after if possible because I was hurting hearing him. Payment was more important to him than my dog being in pain. He couldnt have cared less and ended up running the card at the end because it dosnt need to be run right away...will NOT be

This clinic was kind enough to see our dog when he needed treatment, all the while being closed for a holiday. They were highly professional, provided great quality service, and truly care about the well being of animals. I would hands down recommend Cottonwood Veterinary Service to anyone in the area!
