Clarion Animal Hospital
Located in beautiful Northwest Pennsylvania, Clarion Animal Hospital is a full service small animal practice. We are committed to providing the very best care for the pets in Clarion County and surrounding regions. Our hospital, located right on route 68, is equipped with in house laboratory testing, a full state-of-the-art surgical suite, and routine diagnostic tools ensuring all our patients the best care possible.

In 1992 Dr. Jatin Mehta and his wife Dennyse relocated from Austin, TX looking for the famous 4-season weather and a close-knit community to build their practice and to raise their family. At first they managed the clinic alone but then slowly began to grow. Now the hospital has 4 doctors and a staff of 15 plus.
Services
Please fax or email blood work histopathology/cytology, and radiographs (if digital) in advance of the appointment if possible. This patient is being referred to the Clarion Animal Hospital for further investigation and treatment of the above condition. In order to avoid duplicating work and expense, please send radiographs and copies of diagnostic tests.
Established in 1933 by leaders in the veterinary profession, the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is the only companion animal exclusive veterinary association in the U.S. and Canada. AAHA is well known for its high standards in veterinary medicine and quality pet care.

The Association believes in setting "The Standard of Veterinary Excellence" and provides veterinary professionals with the resources they need to effectively manage their businesses and deliver the best in companion animal care. The AAHA Accreditation process is rigorous and animal hospitals that choose to undergo this process must be evaluated in over 900 areas of veterinary medicine.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delays are inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.
We are always glad to accept resumes from enthusiastic, hard working, dependable, team oriented people who wish to join our team of veterinary health care professionals.

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance.
Here at Clarion Animal Hospital, we always welcome new clients and patients to our full service veterinary practice in Clarion. We know you will be very happy with our services. Our veterinarians and staff are devoted to staying on top of the latest diagnostics, treatments, and wellness programs to maintain your pet's optimal health.

We took our cat here a little while back, with severe dry skin/hair loss/ weight loss. They ran some blood tests and they came back witha very high white blood cell count. So the initial thought was leukemia considering he was a kitten we took in that was outside. Long story short they apparently never even tested for it, even though we said to and they said they would, just said autoimmune disease and gave him a steroid that helped a little bit but besides that just pushed and pushed for us to do an $800 biopsy. He started getting bad again even losing the weight he put on and so we took him to

Didn’t listen to distinct instructions NOT to preform certain testing procedures. Overcharged for services when PRIOR visitation caused health issues with our family pet. Wouldn’t come consult with us because they were “too busy.” VERY upset with our experience and would NOT recommend. Quality of service has went downhill

Very good good with animals. You can get your shots for your animals if they are in their first year you have to get two shots you can get them for them whenever you go to the vet so you don't have to make another trip because if you're anything like me you don't drive so you have to depend on others to get places which really doesn't bode well sometimes but other than that it's a very good place to get to

If I could give more, I would give more than 5 stars. Yesterday my 13y/o beloved puppy was showing "unexpected" symptms. After chest xray n EKG nothing was decided and we left the office with no real answers. Dr assured me she would review results later n call me. I was doubtful. Before 5pm she personally called (I didn't hear phone ring) and she left the explanation n how to get the medication needed to help my beloved puppy. I love this Dr n all the staff at CAH. This is just 1 more time I am EXTREMELY pleased their care of my babies

I do not have enough positive words to describe this facility from top to bottom. The staff and Dr. Mehta was above and beyond phenomenal. Even though our situation ended up being relatively easy to treat, I was completely impressed by the compassion, sincerity, professionalism and demeanor that was practiced. Dr. Mehta was very thorough,… spent time letting Henry warm up to him and took time to explain his assessment, findings and treatment. the facility was very clean and inviting; the staff very warm and welcoming. I would, in no way, hesitate to bring my pets to this facility in a heartbeat

I have had dogs since 1980, and have been to many vet offices during that time. I just have to say that Dr. Mehta and his staff are one of the kindest and most compassionate vet teams I have ever met. I received some bad news about my dog's health, and I wasn't taking it very well. The kindness and compassion showed to me and my dog by Dr. Mehta and his staff went well above and beyond the norm.
