Earl was born in Evansville, IN to the late Everett Jolley and Vonda Verble Page Jolley. Earl loved to farm and when he wasn't farming he was driving a truck; He was also a devoted family man and enjoyed time with them. He is survived by; children, Connie Jolley of Mitchell, IN, Patricia Jolley of Mitchell; four grandchildren, Thomas McCormick (Jacqui) of Freelandville, Paul.
Fredrick & Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes and Crematory, Sexton Wilbert Vault Company and Wilbert Licensees are honored to provide families of firefighters, law enforcement officers and emergency medical personnel who have died in the line of duty with a tribute worthy of their valor and sacrifice. At no charge to the family, we donate a customized Wilbert Stainless Steel Triune burial vault when traditional burial is chosen.
Construction on our facility started in 1903 and was completed in 1904; the building was used as a residence until 1950 when it was first converted into a funeral home. In 1987 the house next door was purchased and connected to the existing funeral home to add additional space and create a new chapel.
Daniel G. McClure and Frank McClure founded the McClure Funeral Home in 1878. The funeral business was originally in conjunction with a furniture business and a harness making business. At its beginning in Bicknell, the business was housed in a building immediately south of the railroad on Main Street.
