Services
At Young Scholars Learning Academy, we understand that the most critical period for brain development is in the first few years of life. During this time, brain cells, called neurons, begin to connect to form a useful brain. The development of these connections, called synapses, is primarily formed by experiences and settings.
Our educational philosophy is to create a learning atmosphere through teacher directed activities and structured play. Time, materials and space will be provided for children to actively explore the world around them. They will have an opportunity to use a variety of art materials, manipulatives and housekeeping equipment.
Formula/Breast Milk - Prepared formula bottles or instructions on preparing breast milk/bottles. A Complete Change of Clothes (At least 3 for infants) - Shirt, pants, socks and underwear. Many parents begin thinking about potty training when their child is between the ages of two and three. We are here to be your partner during this challenging time and would like to offer some helpful advice and signs of readiness to watch for.
Lead Teacher | Position Available | Apply HerePurpose: Is responsible for creating an environment that fosters development of critical skills in a group of pre-kindergarten-aged students. Is in charge of the supervision, safety and education of the children entrusted to their care. Employs art, reading, puzzles, role-playing and music to help the children learn.
