We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care.
Our goal is to build a successful dental practice with a reputation in our community for fairness, dependability, performance and service. We are easy to locate on the west side of Pella at the intersection of Highway 163 and Washington St. We use state-of-the-art equipment, including laser dentistry and the CEREC system, which allows us to restore damaged teeth in a single visit.
An estimate for any work needed will be given to you in the form of a treatment plan by our Finance Manager. This is only an estimate. It is the patient's responsibility to fulfill the financial commitments promptly and completely. Dental Insurance is designed to assist in paying part of the cost of dental treatment.
Our planincludes preventative dental care and a savings on restorative work such as fillings and crowns. For treatment which, in the sole opinion of the doctor, lies outside the realm of their capacity. For our patients without insurance our membership plan simplifies payments for preventative care and offers savings on treatment.
The appointment was for my 4 year old. He was excited (truly he was, Pella Family Dentistry is such a great environment, especially for kids, that he really enjoys going- even to fix a cavity!). Thank you for such a great family friendly environment and for making the experience comfortable and easy to understand for a kid!

Highly recommended! We are new to the area and took a chance that the excellent reviews of Pella Family Dentistry were on par with what we would experience, and 100% they were. I cannot emphasis enough how impressed I was with my experience. I have been getting regular cleanings and check ups for over 40 years and this was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office. The entire staff was friendly, took time to answer my questions, and experts at their jobs. The equipment was cutting edge, the facility was extremely clean.

Make sure you double check what the estimate they give you is with your insurance company. I had 3 cavities I needed filled, and they gave me a quote to get them filled after insurance which was around $180. That was fine with me so I got the work done. When I got finished, they charged me around $186 and said that if there was any more I needed to pay they would send a bill in the mail. A month later, I got a bill for $140 on top of what I already paid. If it was $20, or even $40 more than the estimate, no big deal.. but this was almost double. I called the insurance company, and they told me

All the staff was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! I also really appreciated how the set-up was kid-friendly and how the hygienists talked to my kids about ways to brush their teeth better. My toddler hasn’t stopped brushing his teeth since we got home. Dr. Vermeer also talked with me about each child and answered my questions.

I had been seeing Dr. Meghan Scott for several years, but when a job change moved me out of town, I switched to another dentist. I had a few issues with my new dentist, so I ended up coming back to Pella Family Dentistry. Dr. Meghan and her staff are kind, courteous, and professional. and I enjoy every visit.

Pella Family Dentistry is a very welcoming and professional environment as you first step in the office. All of the front staff were inviting & helpful. Both dentist (Dr. Micah Vermeer) and hygienist (Kelsey) are professional, friendly, caring, informative and do a great job making you feel valued as a patient. They are very thorough & answer all my questions. They offer valuable resources to improve my overall gum health and hygiene. I would highly recommend Pella Family Dentistry.
