I have been practicing law in Middle Tennessee since 1999. My middle Tennessee roots run deep. I am proud to say that I have lived in this region the past thirty-eight years and my family even longer. My father, Wayne Belcher was born on a tobacco farm on the northern part of Wilson County. The farm straddled the Wilson and Trousdale county line in the Providence community.

Don’t do it. Absolutely screwed me on my MDA! As a 25 year old going through a divorce, not knowing better or what to look for when it comes to a divorce. You expect your attorney to have your best interest. Yancy did not. 5,000 retainer that is non refundable even if it is wasn’t all used. Clearly an attorney that has no money and just likes to take yours and take you for granted. I am very disappointed in this attorney and would not recommend him to my worst enemy. He should be sued for malpractice.

I STILL DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING! Still waiting...When I contacted the Actual BAR association they said " That is Not right, you need to file a complaint with us against him, you should of had your balance within 1 month"

I hired him to write a simple letter and have it delivered to my business partner..He made me give him a $2000 retainer fee which he assured me the difference would be refunded after the letter was written and delivered. It took him 6 weeks to finally complete the letter and he never even delivered it. I asked him to supply be with fee sheet of the work he claimed to have done and refund me the difference. .He refused to give me any refund or fee sheet, so I contacted the Board of professional responsibility to step in with the case. Awful. Charged me $6000 for a mediation case. He came to the mediation in unprepared. My ex wife proposed a settlement before the whole debacle started, and it was basically the same thing ended up with, he charged me $6000 for nothing. When I talked to him on the phone he talked a big game but when it came down to it, he couldn't do anything for me.
