Massage Spirit
My approach to a pain relief massage is very different than an average massage because I only work on the areas related to your pain/injury. I combine modalities to unlock the soft tissue and Trigger Points that are responsible for your pain. You can't achieve pain relief with just one approach and medical massage is not one size fits all.

The reason for this is that your soft tissue and muscles react differently to pain and become a variety of adhesions, tight muscles or fascia, knots, etc. These issues are responsible for creating a cycle of pain and discomfort. I combine Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage Therapy, Myofascial Release and Deep Tissue to address the route cause of your pain and unlock the soft tissue.
Services
I want to help my clients get their life back. Whether that is being able to lift a grocery bag or run a marathon, I strive to do the best I can to treat injuries and manage pain. I want to see my clients progress in their recovery, not go on a hamster wheel where they are dependent on treatment to get through the week.
As I mentioned on the home page, your massage will be a combination of modalities which may include Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage Therapy and Myofascial Release. The massage is similar to what you might experience at physical therapy when they do manual work, but I have the luxury of spending more than just a few minutes on your problem areas.
Just wanted to share with you an experience I had tonight -- as I was almost finished eating my dinner, I realized that for the first time since I had that molar pulled, I was able to eat without pain on my left side. Literally, I dropped my fork and thought to myself, "I can't believe I'm just now realizing that my jaw isn't hurting when I chew!" WOW!

Trigger Points exist throughout our muscles, but unless activated, they do not cause any problems.

I've been going to Laura Sadler's pain massage therapy for 8 years. I initially went to help with an acute muscle sprain in my shoulder. She ended up helping with long-term knee pain from a childhood injury, as well as helping me recover from chemo/radiation scarring.
I've referred friends to her for their injuries, and they have been happy with her recovery help.
She doesn't just focus on the area that is injured or in pain, she finds the source of the pain, and works through the entire system to release the muscles pulling on the painful area.
She is professional, listens to concerns, and

Excruciating neck and shoulder pain for 3 yrs. Nothing worked until I found Laura. Her treatments were gentle and effective. I’m now pain free and no longer need medication. She gave me back my life and I am forever grateful. Blessings

I have been seeing Laura for several years. Trigger point therapy had been recommended to me by several people for a sciata type of pain down one leg but they also warned it would be extremely painful. I found Laura via Yelp but I was so nervous I almost cancelled our first appointment but when I told her about this she looked horrified and explained that she believed causing pain to be counter-productive. For the first time in about 6 months I was on the road to recovery. Because of my stressful desk job I see her once per week for "maintenance" and flare ups of shoulder pain, carpal

I contacted Laura after 3 months of pretty severe pain in shoulder and mid back. I had a feeling it was trigger points, and I knew I needed a masseuse who specialized in Trigger Point Therapy to help me. I have now had three appointments with her. After the first appointment, I felt 70% better. Now, after the third, I am 90% better. She is professional, her office is clean and inviting, and her rates are very reasonable. I have paid much more for much less effective massages over the years!

She quickly found my troublesome trigger points, and gently yet firmly began to work on them. I felt better

Laura is an exceptional masseuse! Her knowledge of human anatomy is exceptional. Most masseuse will spend most of the time on the area where the client has reported pain or discomfort. However, Laura looks at the body as one complete unit and thus, will treat adjoining areas that may be the cause of or contributing to the pain and.or discomfort.

I have been going to Laura for the last year for a frozen shoulder condition. She has been an amazing therapist and has made it possible for me to function and continue daily activities. I always leave feeling so much better and it has helped decrease the pain tremendously since this is a chronic condition. So many people don't know about trigger point therapy and there are very few who do this. She is one of the best.

This massage therapist is the best. After months of discomfort and increasing reduction of mobility in my neck and shoulders, Laura Sadler was able,to help me after the first session. I am now able to do such actions as turn my head see over my shoulder when driving and lift my arms to blow my hair dry. The pain is nearly completely gone. When I had a brief flare-up, Laura eliminated it with one visit. She was able to help me far more successfully than a physical therapist whom I saw for twelve visits!! I am not a massage connoisseur, but Laura is very skilled and knowledgable. Her trigger

I went to Laura to help with shoulder and neck pain. I am very particular about massages, and skeptical about massage helping with injuries. But her massage not only helped with my neck and shoulder pain, but also helped with back pain and overall stress. It wasn't so much a massage as a focused muscle treatment.

Now she's working with me on a knee injury, and it's an effective and essential tool in helping me train for running again after a long time our of the game.

I'm not into the spiritual side of the massage, so we don't do the reiki or energy healing, and she&apos

I Called to book an appointment and left a voicemail explaining that I would like to set up a time to come in. It says on the message that calls will be returned within 24 hours! It has been three days and no return call. So, I called back! No answer! What else might not be accurate here? Not professional in my view! You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Moving on!

Laura is more than a masseuse, she is a gifted healer. She is intuitive and always pays attention to what is going on what my body then knows how to coax it back into balance. I have had many, many massages around the world and Laura is by far the best therapist I have encountered. She is skilled in trigger point release, atheltic injuries, etc. Consider her a sort of physical therapist and masseuse all in one. Book ahead because she fills up fast.

Resolved major pain issues in my arm. And my back. Works on my mother-in-law's shoulder. And my wife's back issues. By far the best therapeutic massage I've ever had. I now buy blocks of 5 massages that I can use on an as-needed basis to deal with pain and repetitive stress injuries from computer work. Highly recommended, and I'm thrilled she moved to Burbank! Much closer to home, but she was worth the long drive before.

Laura is a gifted healer! I had a problem injury to my arm and shoulder that would not go away until I saw Laura. She did amazing "trigger point" therapy and massage and I am finally back to normal after months of pain and impaired movement.

Before finding Massage Spirit, I did physical therapy, chiropractic and general massage. That all helped, but it was the work with Laura that healed! She is great to work with too.

I had been looking for a massage therapist to help me with a specific foot issue, plantar fasciitis, but I had not idea on how to go about finding a truly qualified person. A fellow friend recommend Laura Sadler after some research and judging from Laura's website, she seemed to fit the bill. I have to say, hands down, she is amazing! She truly understands the human anatomy and how to deal with the root cause of the issue. She's been great at giving me advice on exercises I should do so I can heal faster. To be honest, I'm the bad student who doesn't do my home stretches. Maybe

By far the best masseuse I've been to in LA.

I really can't recommend her enough. When I got to other masseuses I feel like they only skim the surface. Laura gets deep in the muscle, making it relaxed throughout the entire muscle, rather than just the top layers. My neck, shoulder, and back are always stiff, but whenever I leave I feel like I can move easier and breathe easier. Something about her massages "open" me up, and I leave feeling great.

I highly highly recommend her.

Laura is by far the best massuse I've found after an 8 year search in LA--I like a deep tissue, get in there and work it out kind of massage and she does just that. I'm sure if you wanted a loose rub shed cater to your needs too.

She's also very keen/intuitive and always finds the exact area(s) that needs some work.

I highly recommend her, and shes sweet as can be too, which always makes for an overall great experience.
