Fleur De Lisa Cakes
Since 1991, I have created original designs for Michelle Marie's in Santa Rosa, for Le Chantilly in Marin and San Francisco, and most recently for one of the country's premier wedding cake and specialty dessert makers, based in Napa. My work has been published in wedding magazines, newspaper articles and shown on syndicated television shows.

I have performed cake demonstrations at wedding fairs and trade shows. These experiences have taken me across the country from Santa Barbara to Chicago, and Los Angeles to New York. In 2003, I was afforded an opportunity to pursue my own creative outlet that led me to open Fleur de Lisa Wedding Cakes and Specialty Desserts.

Lisa is amazing! My husband and I aren't big fans of cake so when I went to pick out a wedding cake it was difficult. He only likes pound cake and strawberry shortcake is my favorite, so i wanted a mix of that for our wedding cake but had trouble explaining that to the different bakeries in the area. Lisa was the only one who had workable ideas and was very willing to take on the challenge of our unique ideas. I went for a tasting with her and was in love with the cake she had made! It was my favorite cake I had ever tasted!!

Lisa made 3 tiered naked cake for my wedding in august and it was AMAZING. We decided to get 3 different kinds. The cake itself was strawberry and apricot. The rest were sheet cakes of strawberry, apricot, and chocolate Carmel that the venue was able to keep in the back since my wedding was over 200 people. We left some cake behind and the next day went back to the venue to pick it up. I would definitely recommend Lisa for any special event. The cake was beautiful and tasted delicious.

Cakes are beautiful and desserts are closer to my heart than any other type of food, so our cake was VERY important to us. Lisa made a cake even more beautiful than the one we had discussed during our consultation. And it was so yummy that our local guests are still asking us to share our frozen left overs. "No one eats the cake" they told me. They were wrong - oh so wrong. Lisa at Fleur de Lisa makes incredible cakes that my wedding guests were raving about. We had a white cake with 3 separate layers and flavors: passionfruit, apricot, and lemon. It made our warm fall afternoon wedding feel absolutely scrumptious. I highly recommend working with Lisa!! She has great consultations and is very willing to design the wedding cake of your dreams.

Lisa was incredible, all of her cakes were delicious! We opted for a 3 tiered cake, with the bottom being her passion fruit mousse (by far the BEST cake I've ever tasted!), second tier being lemon curd, and top being apricot. All three tiers were amazing, and she even accommodated by using my artificial succulents that I picked out! Absolutely wonderful!

Lisa is amazing! We booked our wedding on ridiculously short notice and Lisa did a phenomenal job. We were so blown away by everything from the presentation at the tasting to the tiny details like our preferred cake-to-frosting ratio.
Every single flavor we tried at the tasting was outstanding. We ended up getting three different cake flavors because we couldn't just pick one.
Additionally, Lisa's cost was a lot more affordable than some other bakeries. While she absolutely won us over with her great tasting cake, the great price sealed the deal.

Dear Lisa, thank you so much for the amazingly tasty and beautiful looking wedding cake! We loved it, countless guests came to tell us how great it tasted and the chef from Madrona Manor asked for your name because he said it was the best wedding cake he had that people brought there! Plus you were very wonderful to work with from the first meeting for tastes, to our email exchanges to the brainstorm for the looks of the cake.

Our favorite flavor was the white cake with mango, followed by chocolate espresso and then the famous zinger.

I come from a family where everything is homemade - cookies, cakes, salad dressings, croutons, everything. So when it came to wedding cake my expectations weren't too high based on my past experiences with wedding cakes. Lisa blew us away with her wedding cake selections. It was extremely difficult narrowing it down to only two flavors -- we loved everything we tasted!
Most delicious cake we've ever had, not to mention stunning as well. Thank you Lisa!

I contacted Fleur de Lisa cakes multiple times via email, trying to establish a date to taste cakes and discuss the cake further. As a cake from this establishment was included in our wedding package. Much to my dismay Lisa was overbearingly not flexible what so ever with dates, or times that we could meet. I really wanted to use a local establishment for our cake. But was forced to use an out of town vendor due to Fleur de Lisa's lack of flexibility! Fleur De Lisa made the most amazing cake for our May 24, 2015 wedding at The Lodge in Sonoma. When guests are getting seconds and thirds, you know you found the best baker in the area. Everything was so delicious!!! Caramel, red velvet and raspberry zinger. We could not pick a favorite!

Definitely consider them for your next event!

Jamie was the best! She was so patient while I figured out exactly the design I wanted. I was so happy at the end of my appointment I cried like most brides to when they find their perfect dress!

The flowers they added to the top were nicer than some floral arrangement I've seen at other weddings. They even added a small fondant gator as a tribute to my husband's favorite football team. Lisa and her team really have a classic and tasteful eye, combined with meticulous design.

How many people do you know ask for seconds (or in some of our guests' cases a third serving) at a wedding reception?

A few years ago I had the awesome opportunity to taste cake from Fleur de Lisa at my cousin's wedding in Yountville. It was amazing. So fast forward to last winter when my husband and I became engaged and decided to have a Napa Valley wedding, we knew we wanted to have the same wedding cake baker. Our wedding cake from Fleur de Lisa was three flavors and each of them was just absolutely delicious. And the cake was actually less expensive than the other places we checked out, even though it was far superior in quality.

However, there were some issues. During the tasting they asked me to send them pictures of my dress so they could match the decorative pipe icing. This sounded like an awesome idea so I took several pictures and emailed them about two months before the wedding. Come the day, the sides of the cake were completely plain. No decorative piping at all. Disappointing, but

Fleur de Lisa did a small, simple cake for our June 14 wedding at Cline Cellars -- it was *exactly* as requested and absolutely delicious. My groom was stuffing forkfuls into his mouth even as we ran off to our post-cocktail photo session, if that says anything... :)

We selected red velvet and the vanilla cassis, both of which were amazing. We received several compliments and everyone LOVED it.

The cake was beautiful, and the best cake I ever ate!!! I got the cafe chocolate on one tier, the coconut-pinapple and the red velvet. Everyone loved the flavors. I didn't get my e-mails responded to as quickly as I would have liked but they did get back to me and reassured me that it would be ready for pick-up. I would go to Fleur de Lisa Cakes again. You will not be disappointed. The cake gets a 5 and the staff was a pleasure to work with. I would suggest getting cake cutting instructions because I did not do a good job on cutting it.

For our Sonoma wedding, we chose The Lodge at Sonoma to be our caterer. As part of the catering package, The Lodge offers the wedding cake free of charge as long as you use one of the preferred vendors. Sold!

We went with Fleur de Lisa Cakes, physically located in Santa Rosa, 30 minutes north of Sonoma. We met up with Jamie for our cake tasting, and she was a blast to help guide us through the perilous and fattening world of tasting a boatload of cake and icing flavors. Throughout our wedding process, Jamie was easy to reach and very responsive.

The cake Lisa created for our wedding was incredible. We had a few guests say that it was the best cake they had ever had (really!). The Cafe Ole, Lemon Poppy Royale and "Karat" Cake flavors were absolutely devine.

The three-tier, ivory buttercream cake was exquisitely decorated, even better than I had requested! The flowers were just gorgeous, and perfectly placed. We had asked she use a silver cake stand we had purchased locally, and she had no problems doing so (no extra charges, either).

Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed!
