Services
I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a church member, a club member etc. My point is that I live and learn just as everyone else. I am a lifetime student and feel that I embrace life in a positive fashion. We all face heartache and joy. We have very few choices as to what circumstances come to us in life, we do however have choices as to how we respond to those circumstances.

I went for marriage counseling. I believe Annette would have been fine for family counseling but she should have sent me to a specialist for abuse counseling. “Women in abusive situations (even just physiological abuse) should not seek couples counseling. Couples counseling is designed for problems that are mutual.” Abuse is not mutual. Read “Why does he do that?” By Lundy Bancroft if you are unsure if your marriage is considered abusive. Couples counseling only made my situation worse at home.
