I'm new to the area and was looking to update my headshots and after reviewing Forrest's portfolio booked my session right away. My experience with Forrest from initial request of information through my photoshoot was exceptional. He was professional, understood what I was looking for, and was a great conversationalist. Forrest was extremely helpful, patient and enthusiastic. I had a very basic understanding of photography, but he was able to simplify the bewildering number of dials, buttons, settings, etc., on a DLSR and teach me what is really necessary to think about before taking a picture. I feel much more confident that I can now go out into the field, concentrate on a couple of those at a time and learn what works and what doesn't. Before this, I would not have known where to start, now I feel like I will be taking great photos in no time.

My wife, Ginger, spent a few hours with Forrest during a class that he provided. It was well worth the money! She came home very excited about her camera (first time since she bought it). Forrest was patient, kind and professional, even though he had to repeat things several times (per my wife). At any rate, he persisted and she learned the attributes and features of her camera. We will use Forrest again!

Forrest is a walking book of knowledge. I learned so much more about my camera in such a short time frame compared to me owning a camera for a few years. Forrest is a patient teacher and simplifies the most technical things into everyday layman's terms.The lesson plan incorporates a ton of hands on examples of each topic discussed. I would highly recommend Forrest to anyone looking to start photography. You will definitely not be disappointed in his one on one class.

Our company used Forrest's services for some product photography. Communication was extremely fast and he was flexible about timing and collecting the items. The item we needed photographed was large and somewhat awkward to move and transport, but he worked with our schedule.
The photos were available quickly and are excellent, among the best we've had for any of our products. Highly recommended and we will continue to use his services in the future.

I have taken thousands of photos in the last 15 years, but I never really knew what I was doing. I basically have been "playing by ear" with my photography. I have a Nikon d810 and shoot mostly my children's sporting events. I loved that Forrest prepared our one on one session specifically for my needs. He blended my favorite teaching styles-he had a power point presentation that broke down each area that I needed help. He then demonstrated using my camera and then facilitated my self-learning using my camera. It was literally the BEST two hours that I could have spent! He is also very responsive
