I went to see Joan with chronic back pain. I have tolerated and suffered through the pain for 25 years. The results have been incredible! Rather than managing the pain with pills, now the pain has reduced to a level it's almost gone! I have been so impressed with Joan (Dr. Joan Kim Wagner) and her facility (so clean and comfortable in every room) and her mastery of eastern medicine and herbs that I recommended her to my wife. My wife has had similar fantastic results with some health issues she was facing. I highly recommend Dr. Joan Kim Wagner, she is the best in the business!

I can't recommend Evergreen Acupuncture and Wellness Center enough. It is clean, comfortable, and best of all, it works. I was in severe pain and nervous about trying acupuncture for the first time, but Dr. Kim's extensive knowledge and comforting bedside manner put me at ease.

I was having severe neck and shoulder pain and Joan Kim was able to give me immediate relief. The staff at Evergreen are some of the kindest, most accommodating and professional people I have ever met. Dr. Kim & Joan have been more than helpful! When i first came in I had many different issues (fatigue, anxiety, migraines, jaw pain etc.) I am still in treatment here currently, however more than half of the issues i had when i came in are completely gone. Not only has it been a tremendous help, but the environment is also extremely friendly and comfortable. Everyone is very kind and welcoming! I would highly recommend Evergreen to anyone interested in trying accupuncture!

I can't believe that this witchcraft thing is still alive. It amuses me how she can persuade people to believe her needles poking people instead of her dolls. Like most of the bad reviews here she is very hungry for money and trapping you for a bigger package which is very pricey and manipulate you that you can save more. I took my rotator cuff injury (in my shoulder) and my tendinitis (in my finger) to Evergreen weeks ago. They're much better now. The physical therapy I was allowed (for my shoulder) did nothing, really. You can't beat acupuncture for fixing such things.
My insurance company would only allow 15 visits, so I couldn't take advantage of any of the packages that I was urged to get, but I must say it's a nice, clean office and I've been glad for the help that the acupuncture has given me.

I unfortunately have to update this review because the doctor keeps changing her prices and seems VERY money hungry. She'll try to push "packages" and charge a lot for herbs. Last time I was there I asked for rapid release which every other time I had gotten free of charge because she said she wanted to "help me get better" but she didn't feel like helping me that day and said that she would have to charge me for it. I will be taking my business elsewhere...

Over the years I have visited Dr. Kim for my chronic stiff neck and shoulders. She was able to help me to move freely. I have also had the face lift acupuncture treatment which did wonders. While I was training for the LA marathon for some reason my ankle began to swell up. I hadn't fallen or out right injured it but it didn't look good. I visited Dr. Kim and immediately felt better. Dr. Kim has a calm bedside manner and has always made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend her.

I started going to Evergreen Acupuncture about 4 weeks ago. I had a really bad shoulder pain that ran through my Arm down to my fingers. Dr.Kim spent time and carefully diagnosed my symptoms and explained exactly what she was going to do to turn things around. I went to Joan's practice in Santa Barbara, she is normally in Santa Barbara once a week. I did the all over wellness check and Face Lift acupuncture. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep. When I woke up, I can see my lips corner totally got lift up. It was like someone had taped my chin back. She also offer weight loss treatments too. I met Dr. Kim and her staff at the women's expo in LA. She's very nice and informative. The acupuncture has definitely helped my neck and shoulder pain. The staff here are so nice and they really listen to my needs which is a plus. They are flexible with scheduling and will always call me Back when I leave a message. In addition, they send reminder texts for my appointments which I find helpful. I also love working with Marjan who is very gentle and helpful when assisting me.

Worse acupuncture experience of my life and I have been getting acupuncture since I was 8 years old. First of all I don't feel that the technician listened to me about my current condition. Rather she just kept pushing me to purchase more sessions before I ever got the treatment.

I first started coming to Evergreen Acupuncture & Wellness Center back in June to try to alleviate the tendinitis in my wrist. I was scared of needles, but traditional physical therapy and Aleve just weren't cutting it anymore. From the get go, I could tell that Dr. Joan is very dedicated to her patients, that she really tries to hear you and help treat you to keep you centered and healthy. I don't even think about my tendinitis anymore, and Dr. Joan has helped me with my sleep schedule and energy as well! I feel less stressed and more in-tune with my day-to-day life.
