JHI Engineering, Inc. (JHI) has been providing professional engineering services to heavy industry in the Pacific Northwest since 1976. JHI is a modest-sized company that has grown conservatively over the years, largely through projects brought in by the firm's reputation and repeat clients. The firm began as a group of specialists in pulp and paper mill projects.
Our continuing expertise and longstanding relationships with clients in that industry remain highly important to us. The firm has diversified, however, by successfully applying the design skills from that industry to other industrial, commercial, and municipal projects. Since 1978, JHI has been constantly expanding in order to meet the growing needs of its many clients. Originally supplying only mechanical engineering services, JHI now includes four separate departments which can provide a full range of engineering services to better serve our clients. Project Managers have one of the most important jobs at JHI.
