Hawthorn is one of the earliest blooming trees in the springtime signifying the birth of new possibilities after a long winter. Symbolically, Hawthorn signifies a time of renewed energy and healing as we begin a new adventure of the heart. As we embrace our hearts desire, we will with Hawthorn, we have the strength to follow those dreams.
The common hawthorn tree has been used for thousands of years to heal a "broken" heart. In folk medicine, the flowers, leaves and fruit are used to help reduce blood pressure, anxiety and inflammation. In Chinese medicine, it is used to improve digestion and cardiovascular function. Modern medicine is now using hawthorn to help treat chronic heart failure, elevated cholesterol and coronary heart disease.

I have been here several times and it is nice. They have a few dried herbs that you can purchase and the prices are good on the dried herbs. When I am in the building I feel like there are some negative energy vibes happening. The people barely talk to you and they have never asked me if I need any help or wanted to know about any of their products or services. It's a little stuffy for me.

Dr Rob Neilson,
I had such a great experience meeting with Dr. Rob. He is very personable and made me feel super comfortable. As well the office has essential oil and other relaxation candles and lots of other helpful items in the lobby for you to look at. The vibe of the office is very light and is located just by down town. I would highly recommend Dr. Rob Tai Che class he offers in the mornings, its FREE! Thanks again Dr. Rob Neilson.

Great place to go for acupuncture, to see a naturopathic doctor, massage and special clinics. I have been a client of Chelsea and Josh Philips for years and can not recommend them enough.
Their new space in the Hawthorn Healing Arts Center across from McMenimans has tons or bike or car parking and has lots to look at in the retail area while you are waiting.
