For most of us, our home is our largest asset. Before making such a large investment, it is highly recommended that a home inspection be performed to identify the current condition of inspected components and systems.

The FORTIFIED Home program goes beyond emergency preparedness and disaster preparedness by using proven technology to strengthen new or existing construction to give you the peace of mind that comes from knowing your home has been FORTIFIED against disaster.FORTIFIED makes your home stronger and more resilient while bringing value to your bottom line.

I bought my first home when I was 23 years old. I waived the home inspection because it was new construction and had a warranty. I saved a couple hundred dollars but it turned out to be one of the worst decisions I ever made. I learned from that mistake and I set out to learn everything I could about the construction industry.
We want you to understand the ins and outs of your new home. We schedule time during and after our inspections to walk through the home with you so that we can discuss areas where you might have questions or concerns. Along with your home inspection report, we include recommended maintenance for your home.
FORTIFIED Home is a set of engineering and building standards designed to help strengthen new and existing homes through system-specific building upgrades to minimum building code requirements that will reduce damage from specific natural hazards. The Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS) created the FORTIFIED Home program to help strengthen homes from hurricanes, high winds, hail, and severe thunderstorms.
