Mike served as a helicopter pilot in the US Army during the Vietnam war, departing service with a Purple Heart and a lifetime of memories. After the war, Mike found his calling as a peddler extraordinaire, finding great deals and selling all manner of products to oil companies. In 1991, he founded Tin Spot, which was renamed Shade & Shelter in 2011.
When he is not telling tall tales about big fish, Mike can be found tinkering on his fishing boat, dreaming about landing the catch of a lifetime. Peggy is the glue that holds Shade & Shelter together. Her administrative expertise and winning smile keep Mike and Billy productive and ensure the customers are well cared for.

When my mom put a new metal roof on her house--a big job--this was where the metal was purchased. I'm not sure about prices for metal roofs, but this place is supposed to be the cheapest around. If it's a big job and not a DIY type project, I think they can recommend installers. That's who installed my mom's roof. They have some car ports built on the property to showcase some of the possibilities.
