My name is Chiha. I'm a professional hair stylist from Japan. I originally started my career back in Fukuoka, Japan. Since then I have worked for salons in Japan such as grace for 12 years before I moved to the U.S. I have also worked as a certified colorist instructor with the cosmetic brand Lebel.
After I moved to the U.S., I have worked at the salon Arty in San Francisco and I'm currently working out of Right Angle Hair in Rockridge, Oakland. Along with specialty haircuts, colors and designs, I also offer Japanese Straight Perms to provide my clients with a diverse range of hairstyles.

Conveniently located within a 3 minute walk from the Rockridge BART station. Rockridge is 25 minutes away from Downtown San Francisco on BART. There is metered parking on College Avenue and ample free 2 hours street parking in the residential area off College avenue. There are a lot of great cafes, restaurants and shops on College Avenue in Rockridge.

Chiha has been my hair stylist for more than 10 years. I used to fly back to SF from the East Coast so she could cut/digital perm my hair. She gives very precise and stylish cuts and that's why I keep going back to her. She cuts hair when it's wet, then blow dries, and then cuts again to finish. My haircuts have always looked great, even when I forget to cut it for 6 months+. I won't go to anyone else for haircuts because she's the best.
