Early childhood trauma makes me dislike nearly everything about going to the dentist, but we all know you have to go! Thank goodness I was referred to Dr Grey and his crew! They provide a lovely comforting environment with friendly and personable staff and all the latest technology available. He is a patient and kind man who is conservative in his approach. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Grey, Carla, and the whole team at this practice! I have always been very self-conscious about my smile, and my dental anxiety kept me from going to the dentist for almost 10 years.

Had a minor issue with an implant and called on a Friday afternoon to leave a message about coming in Monday or Tuesday (they are closed Friday's). To my surprise I got a text from Catherine within a minute or less. Betty and her were there, could I come in now. I live almost next door so off I went. Betty took great care of me and all was well. To my surprise they wanted Dr. Gray to double check so they set me up with an appointment the next Monday.
Now some may think this was just a onetime thing, No this is the way they always have been. Always friendly and caring.

I have a very intense dental phobia and Dr. Gray and his staff have saved me from sleepless nights stressing about dental work. I'm always embarrassed about my reaction to any procedures, but I felt completely comfortable from my very first interaction with his team. They are well versed in dealing with people with dental phobia and I felt seen and understood for the first time when explaining my reactions/fears. I have just started the first part of my implant process. Dr Grey and his staff could not have made it more comfortable and easy from start to finish. Within minutes of my appointment Dr Grey took the extra time to answer every question and concern. My procedure was so easy and completely painless. His staff made sure I had everything I needed, and called to check on me later that day. Dr Grey also made sure to check and see how I was doing later that evening. Dr Gray is by far the best Dentist in San Diego. I am a registered nurse that unfortunately have spent much far too much time in the dental chair. Health is my priority, the most difficult part is trusting the provider and understanding the process.

Best dental office! I seriously love this dental office. Dr. Gray did my exam and treatments with Tanya the dental technician and I had a fabulous experience. I have been there 3 times total and each time they are on-time and organized. I highly recommend the sedation dentistry. I went with the oral route and my procedure was painless but I was awake enough to communicate. My cleaning was with Patsi and I don't think my teeth have ever been this clean. I highly recommend this dental team. You'll be excited to go to the dentist, trust me.

Be aware that you pay upfront for expensive procedures, including what is covered by insurance. Then monitor the insurance filing in case the dental office "forgets" that the reimbursement should come to you and not them. Then chase both insurance and the dentist office for months because neither really cares if you don't get reimbursed. And then monitor again when the office somehow gets the reimbursement check at the end of it all and deposits it in their own account without a word to you until you remind them that the money is yours.

I just had a eeth cleaning and can honestly say that Patsie did the most thorough cleaning that I've had in years! I recently switched from what I feel was an inferior dental office, and can really tell the difference in the quality and care given by Dr. Gray's friendly staff. I am looking forward to getting my new dental implant crown in a couple of weeks and showing off my new smile.

From the moment I made my first appointment I felt at ease. Dr. Gray simply couldn't be a more kind, caring person and doctor. I had my first work visit today and I have to say this is the best experience I've ever had at any dental or medical facility. I was treated very well with the service, although they didn't take my insurance being that it was HMO they observed my teeth and gave me information on where I should go with my insurance, too bad I don't have PPO I would've loved to make this place my home being how comfortable I was. Dr Jeff Grey is an amazing dentist! His staff is absolutely fabulous as well!! They are the nicest people you could hope to have help you care for your mouth! I've had a few procedures where I was sedated and everyone from Dr Jeff Grey to his staff had the best bedside manner with me as I dont do well with medical procedures. The work he has done on my teeth is excellent and I fully trust him to do what's best for my teeth. After my first appointment, Dr. Hurtado was patient and explained everything that needed to be Done. He was able to get all the work done (several fillings and one extraction) in one sedation visit. The follow up appointments have been Smooth and the whole staff is very friendly and professional. I am relieved to have found Dr. Grey and Dr.Hurtado and their elite team!
