The Animal Hospital has been providing veterinary services to this community since 1950, with a total of 17 veterinarians throughout those years, three of which are currently in practice. Over 60 years of service, we have achieved a lot through proper veterinary care to Taylor County and the surrounding area.
We've done so by engaging with our community and working with an outstanding team. In addition to him we have a staff full of vets, and vet techs ready to serve you. We provide care to Taylor County, Kentucky and surrounding areas. We treat small and large animals, mostly dogs, cats, and cows, and sometimes horses, pigs, goats etc.

Our male cat was alternately limping and walking normally, even running. At the Animal Hospital the problem was found to be some black sticky substance on his feet, & a scab. I suspect he got up on a bath vanity a got some caustic drain cleaner on his paw. I had tried to clear the drain & hadn't yet rinsed the sink. He couldn't lick his paw clean it, & it burned his inner foot pad, picked up dirt from the floor & dried as a sticky, annoying substance. The vet found the problem quickly & cleaned the paw with hydrogen peroxide & applied an antiseptic salve. The charge seemed reasonable & the diagnosis

I had a sick bottle baby goat that didn't seem to be doing well. My local vet hadn't bothered to return my call or see the goat, so I had to find someplace to take her. I chose Animal Hospital in the hopes that their reviews were true. I was not disappointed! The staff listened to my concerns, took the time to explain what tests were done and their results, and even how to give the goat injections. After my visit today, I will be a lifelong customer!
