Once Waskow began providing his reliable services to Concord, CA and the surrounding areas, however, the company began to grow-fast. Even though our origins may be small, our growth speaks for itself.
We now serve a much larger area including the Diablo and Tri-Valley Communities and are seeking to expand our services even more to include additional HVAC services and smart home products. Home Town is the best in my book. Sure, you may pay just a little more than the other guys but it’s been worth every cent. They have responded to every question, and inquiry.
Justin, the tech that works on my HVAC is a very nice, pleasant person that I welcome to my home! He is attentive to every detail. He went the extra mile today and explained to my wife a and I every detail. I loved it. He’s a good person and his company, I hope knows they have a great employee! I give Justin and Home Town the highest recommendation possible! Great job!!!

The company was very proactive in return Ing my call to set up an initial assessment on my two heating systems. Jeremiah was our technician and he was amazing! He was very thorough and answered all my questions and concerns. He was extremely professionally, knowledgeable and friendly. He took extensive photos for our file and explained the ones I had questions about.
I would recommend this company and definitely will ask for Jeremiah to be assigned when we review our AC system in Spring!!!
Not too mention The quotes for heater ducting was reasonable!

As always a positive experience with this company. Great technicians and the technician that arrived today, Jeremiah Sturgis, was no exception. Jeremiah was a standout. He was very friendly, professional, and thorough in his work. My furnace went out a few weeks ago right when it started to get cold. I got two quotes from other providers which were probably both excellent companies, however I simply couldn't afford the costs to replace. I called the a technician on my furnaces brand website and they recommended Hometown. They made a valiant attempt to repair the thing at my request, but when it was all said and done, my furnace was just too old to work. So they came the next day and installed a brand new one. Sean was here to do a checkup on our 2019 HVAC unit. He started out by cleaning our filters and reinstalled them. Sean was polite and knowledgeable concerning our unit. He was able to answer our questions honestly. We have been using Hometown at our residence and rental for many years and have not been disappointed.

I made an appointment for a technician to come out and help fix my air conditioning unit. His name was Geoffrey. He came in and opened up the unit. He told me that I would need a new capacitor and the Freon would need to be added. He shot a price at me which seemed a little high. He then said he would just change the capacitor which he did. At this point everything was moving along well. What really set him off was that he could not screw off the cap that would allow him to add the Freon. He said that he did not want to take a chance and brake it and of all the Freon shooting out at him and then

We had a leak from our A/C. When we called Hometown, the first appointment time was from noon to 2. When they had not shown up or called, I called them to be told that they might be there around 3. I had other things to do that day, and could not wait any longer, so I just cancelled the appointment (this was on a Friday). After another weekend without A/C (we were afraid to use it until it got fixed), we were rescheduled for the following Thursday

So I'll be quick and just say that after an addition two years of regular maintenance and one service call for a leaking drain pan, I'm still a happy Star service customer. I like to know all the details of what's going on and what the are doing. They are good listeners and very patient with my frequent questions.

Their ad says they respond in thirty minutes. That is pure hot air. They had us scheduled two weeks out and called the day before to move it up another two weeks. The person on the phone was very unpleasant.
We had a service contact with them and it looks like they oversell these contracts and can not service them in a timely manner.
The saddest part of this was how unpleasant the person was who called to cancel us. Service?? With a bad attitude.
I'm sorry we never met Sarah whom another review called a genius.

Would highly recommend this place for heating, air conditioning and water heater service and replacement. We have a service contract with them and they do a great job! Their Service Technicians are always friendly and helpful. Always have a smile on their face and ask lots of questions to make sure our systems are working properly.
Today we had Galen Squyres as our technician and he was great! He loved our dogs and answered our questions and gave us tips on how to maximize our AC now and checked our heater for the coming months ahead.
