I have worked on and or installed just about every type of residential equipment in the phoenix market. After so many years in the industry, I have formed some pretty strong opinions about the different brands out there. My primary recommendations are based on three factors, Quality and value of the equipment, parts availability and the technical support.
Well the answere is probably not. Most the entire industry is commission based wether they admit it to you or not. This usually translates to the tech or salesman lying or promising you the moon just to make the sale. It also means he will not be the one installing the unit or standing behind the sale.
The Meyer family first got into the HVAC business when Karl Meyer's grandfather started Meyers Refrigeration in 1958 near 7th St. and Highland Avenue. Bob Meyer, Karl's father started working for his father's company at the age of 16 when the two men did residential air conditioning work on some of the first hand built a/c systems imported from California by wealthy families.

Cannot recommend Karl Meyer enough! He was easy to work with, communicated well and worked very hard to get us a great AC installed quickly. Our last AC unit was installed incorrectly and had been giving us terrible efficiency for years and Karl recognized this and came up with a great fix. Highly recommend!

Karl is the best. He is so fair and so busy, but definitely worth it. He does honest work in today's day and I truly respect his insight and professionalism. He is so consistent and has been for the past few years I've worked with him. I know my unit is getting old but he does a great job of explaining the potential futures costs. I've been needing to replace my unit for years but he keeps it running. Will definitely be using him for that project.

I needed a second opinion for a repair of my American Standard A/C unit. I had heard good things about Karl and gave him a call. Even though he was very busy, he worked me into his schedule well ahead of my expectations. Karl was prompt and on time. Karl did a full evaluation of my A/C unit and recommended a repair.
