Delhi Location - In 1956 LeRoy MacArthur purchased the Lewis White Funeral Home in Hobart, NY from Mr. Lewis White (a distant relative) and in December of that year moved his family to Hobart from Schenectady, NY where LeRoy worked for the Bond Funeral Home and preceding that he worked at the Leo Kearns Funeral Home in Ozone Park, NY.
MacArthur Funeral Home has locations in Delhi, New York and in Hobart, New York serving families throughout the Delaware County. Originally established in 1870 by his grandfather, Manley Uriah Preston (1849-1925), and continued by his father, James D. Hall (1865-1943), Leonard P. Hall (1898 - 1996) provided funeral service to Delhi area families, from 1931 to 1967. A Delaware County native, born in Davenport, Leonard obtained his NY State "Undertaker's" and "Embalmer's" licenses in 1930, then becoming a part of his family's long-established funeral service tradition.

Paul was so very helpful in tying up loose ends from my nephews death. My family has used them for recent funerals as well and I couldn't recommend them enough! Highly recommend!
