I went to UNCW graduating with business marketing and then onto school for physical therapy (which I still do once a month). However, my purpose in life, like so many moms, had changed when my son was born. I was afraid to forget every little thing I experienced, and I am not a journaling type, so my camera was always in my hand.
These are the moments I want to help YOU remember. The toothless 6 month old grin, the bond between you and your son or daughter, those little hands that get bigger every year, the love between your children, the special relationship between your parents and your children. I will help capture these important moments without posed setups.

Services
A more modern approach to school photography, that is both personal and professional. Instead of cheesy forced smiles and unflattering backgrounds, we provide authentic and timeless portraits. My goal is to photograph the child without forced smiles and allow for a fun and relaxed environment to allow them to be themselves.
She was prompt, efficient and super fun. She had great ideas for getting us into some creative family poses that did not feel "posed." The photos came out beautifully and we were so pleased - some of our favorite family photos for sure. Loved Erica's playful and youthful energy, as well. You can tell she really loves what she does, and it shows in her photos!

My family had beach photos taken by Erica on a vacation to Kure Beach. It wasn't an easy task to keep a toddler smiling and entertained around bedtime (we did photos as close to sunset as possible with a 1-year-old), but Erica rolled with it and made changes as needed. She was a pleasure to work with. We absolutely LOVE the photos as would use her again in a heartbeat!

Erica was great, she was able to wrangle the whole family into beautiful and fun pictures. We had many children and many adults in our group and we all got great pictures. Erica was also very responsive to requests for editing certain pictures (make black and white, etc). She was super easy to work with and her talent and good humor made picture taking a great experience for us.

We were very fortunate to have found Erica during our last trip to Wrightsville Beach, NC. It was one of those last minute stuff and I really wasn't sure how it'd turn out. She made our family photo session so much fun and captured our summer vacation beautifully! The 3 photo packages are very reasonable. All the photos were just absolutely stunning, and brought so much joy in my heart. The turn around time for the sneak peek photos was less than a day, and less than 3 days for the selected photo package. I will definitely call on Erica again at our next family photo event.

My husband and I could not have found a better photographer to photograph our little family at the beach! We were blown away at Erica's talent, the photos are absolutely amazing! I love her attention to detail, especially when capturing pictures of us with our two fur babies! Not to mention how quick she was to edit all the photos for us. We will cherish these photos forever and will definitely be planning out next family session with Erica :)

Erica took pictures of our family while on vacation and I can only describe them as looking like they are straight out of a magazine. She has an eye for color and setting. She knows how to capture the moments without them feeling or looking forced. She was extremely easy to work with, on time, and fast with edits. There is really no better photographer I could recommend in this area.

We recently had some family photos done with Erica and I can't even begin to say how much I love them! I contacted her over the weekend, she answered back within hours, and by the end of the night we had our shoot scheduled! We have three kiddos and she made it fun for all of us! She had excellent tips for us as far as what to wear and things we could do during our shoot. The pictures came out AMAZING! We definitely recommend Erica... her work is beautiful!
