The Sandlot is a private home preschool serving the Morgan Hill and surrounding areas. We offer an educational and nurturing program for children ages 16 months to 5 years of age. Our goal is to provide high quality child care by creating a caring, safe and healthy environment that promotes the, social, physical, emotional and cognitive development of your child, as well as responding to the needs of your family.

Services
Because they are repetitive, schedules and routines help children learn classroom activities. Children are able to predict what will happen next and this helps them feel secure and prepared. Classrooms with consistent schedules and routines facilitate children's understanding of the learning environment expectations.
At The Sandlot, we believe that the foundation laid during the early childhood years make a lifetime of a difference. Studies have proven that children who receive well planned, high quality early childhood instructions learn more and are better prepared to master the complex demands of formal schooling.
Here at the Sandlot we participate in the USDA Food Program. This is a federally funded Child Care Food Program (CCFP) to ensure that children receive nutritious, well-balanced meals while in day care. The CCFP reimburses a portion of each meal to licensed child care providers for serving meals and snacks that meet the USDA requirements to the children in their care.
Dramatic Play- your child will gain how the world works, creativity, problem solving skills, participation in the world, cooperation among peers, styles of behavior, emotional strength & stability in actions & words, and increase in language skills. Art- a fun time for your child to increase their ability to express themselves without words, and at the same time working on their social-emotional and fine motor skills.
