Ordered $70+ of takeout Sunday night. After presenting my credit card for payment, saw that there was a $20 surcharge added. When asked about this, I was pointed to a small sign that explains credit cards transactions have a 3% surcharge added. Requested to change the payment method to debit or cash but was denied. This practice is deceptive AND credit card surcharge is Illegal in the State of Texas. Eggrolls were good. Lettuce wraps were good. Curry was ok, but incorrect order (yellow instead of red), but overall a bad taste in my mouth regarding the surprise upcharge. Beware if paying with

Pho #1 is such a lovely place to get Vietnamese and Thai food. I usually get the pho (#7 well done meat on the menu) and it never dissapoints. The tea is surprisingly good and is a nice treat to your meal, highly recommended. Their staff is usually super attentive and kind during your dining experience. The calm and relaxing atmosphere makes the experience all the more unique.

My gal and I absolutely love coming here for dinner! I just don't understand how folks go to Golden China or China Restaurant. Blows my mind!
We always start with the pan fried pork & veggie gyozas. I always get my lettuce wraps, and she always gets her combo fried rice. I like that the fried rice plate is a lot, because I get to clean up what she doesn't finish!

This restaurant was a great Find.
We've been in Harlengin 2 months and just found out about this place.
Joe's service was excellent.
Both of our dishes were hot and very flavorful. . The vegetables were crisp just like they should be cooked.
We also had the Vietnamese egg rolls. Scrumptious. We will return in the fall. Relaxing music too.

Just as the beautiful music accompanies the lovely interior, the broccoli, carrots, celery and snow peas accompany the rice noodles in the Vegetable Noodle Soup which is the #13 on the menu. I am a foodie with a discerning palate. Eating this dish was extremely pleasing to my senses. They are open for dine in. You must wear a mask to enter. Whenever I am in Harlingen, Texas, I will dine here 😃

Pho #1 has some of the best asian food I've had in the valley period. Their pho is always delicious, I've had meatball and flank steak pho and both have been very tasty. Their beef lo mein was also a treat and their tofu curry was one of the most delicious and unique flavors I've ever tried. This is a staple in my house. 100% recommend to anyone wanting to try.

Decided to try this place while passing thru Harlingen. I viewed the
menu and photos online and saw some appealing items. The restaurant
was nice inside and I was waited on promptly. Some of the items
on the menu had vague descriptions which I asked about.
One such item was the medium-rare beef noodle soup appetizer. Id never
seen soup listed as such. I ordered a bowl and the meat in the soup was
in fact cooked medium rare.
I ordered the beef Pad Thai as well, which had good flavor and was served with a side of steamed rice. I found that a bit odd as well since Pad Thai is a noodle dish

Loved this place. We came here after a really long day of moving. The outside doesn't really look like a restaurant, so I hadn't paid much attention, but my plumber recommended it and we didn't want burgers.
It was great!
The pho broth had a unique and pleasing taste. The yellow curry was creamy, and the potato and pepper chunks were delicious (although the beef was dry).
There was one other dish we ordered that was like a salad with noodles and chopped peanuts - excellent.
We shared a Vietnamese ice coffee and it was very good.
The dumplings were a disappointment. They tasted

I should probably give them two stars but I give them three and here's why.
I guess I am spoiled living in Houston Texas as we have the best food.
These lose one star right off the bat! When you walk in it smells really awful. I asked what if was. They said they are burning candles to mask them sell of the sewer. Terrible for a restaurant.

Strike two. The cokes are flat. The sprite was flat! If you are going to operate a restaurant please make sure you dam soda machine is working or simply offer cokes in a can. Because the ones you are selling are flat

Back again for dinner on a Tuesday night. Did not remember what I had ordered six months ago, my last visit,until I updated my review and found I had ordered the same thing, curry beef with spring rolls as appetizer! Such a creature of habit.
Service was very good and I had my food before I knew it.
I should comment that the location shown in Yelp is incorrect. It takes you past the location and it is easy to miss as it is in the shopping center a bit and hard to see from the street.
The spring roll app. was good and tasted fresh. Liked the dipping sauce served with it as well.
