Acupuncturists Without Borders (AWB) provides disaster relief, recovery and support for building resiliency - to communities affected by disasters, human conflict, environmental devastation, poverty and social injustice. Unresolved trauma affects not only the health of individuals, but the well-being of families, communities and entire nations.
The Inn Spot has partnered with Acupuncturists Without Boarders to provide free acupuncture every Tuesday to all Military Personnel including veterans, reserves, retired and active duty, as well as their family members.
Our licensed acupuncturists utilize the NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) protocol acupuncture treatment which is the most effective acupuncture treatment related to trauma related injuries including PTSD, flashbacks, opiate addiction and anxiety, all of which our veterans suffer the most.Each treatment lasts 20-40 minutes in a calm, healing community setting.

The Inn Spot Community Acupuncture participated in the acupuncturists without borders program which provides free healthcare and emergency medicine in under-served areas as well as standing strong in the mission that all people should have access to quality healthcare. The owner, Guy Page is an Air Force Veteran who has made it his mission to help the community and veterans in need. If one requires more involved acupuncture therapy, then the prices are very affordable to all levels of income. The people working here care about those they serve, and it shows. I started coming to The Inn Spot Community Acupuncturists in Mission Valley at the urging of my neurologist.It is veteran owned and highly supportive of the military, veterans and first responders and their families. They are in affiliation with Acupuncturists Without Borders.org
I was anxiously awaiting their reopening this Memorial Day to continue with my treatments. They have changed their protocols and redesigned their spaces to meet the “New Normal “ guidelines to protect both their clients and staff. I was met at my car,had my temperature checked and asked about any possible COVID-19

When I came in for the first time I was a little nervous, as I had never had acupuncture before, but as soon as I walked in, I was comfortable. The office had a calming atmosphere and the staff were friendly, answering any questions I had.
I came out of there feeling calm and renewed. I recommend acupuncture to all my friends now, and I tell them to go to the Inn Spot.

As an acupuncture virgin, I wasn't sure as to what to expect and that induced a little anxiety. I'm not particularly scared of needles, so I suppose the anxiety stemmed from fear of the unknown. Fortunately for me, this experience was nothing but positive and now I'm left to desperately seek out a comparable acupuncture clinic on my home turf!

This place has an extra special authentic place where you feel like your in a temple getting healed. All staff is friendly, approachable and thoughtful in their approach. Highly recommended, I was seen my Jacqueline for my first time ever acupuncture, she was gentle and patient with my anxiety/fear of needles. It's also great they have an affordable option to do community acupuncture for everybody to try.

A couple days ago I had my first acupuncture experience ever. I was a bit nervous, but excited at the same time. My first impression of the space was inviting and calming; definitely what I needed! Guy was present to welcome me into The Inn Spot just as I would welcome a friend into my home.

Guy and his fellow acupuncturists are well trained and experienced. But beyond that Guy and his staff are really into teaching you about the benefits of acupuncture and the other treatments they offer at The Inn Spot. Guy and his colleagues involved with Acupuncturist Without Borders have volunteered countless hours performing free treatments in the local community, offering free acupuncture treatments to First Responders, Veterans, and others. The Inn Spot is my first acupuncture experience, and it has been AMAZING. I have been getting treatment for the last 5 months and have had an amazing experience each time.
I have often walked out feeling as if I had received a massage. Everyone there is so polite and professional. The office is very peaceful and relaxing.

I have been receiving community acupuncture at the Inn Spot for the last year now and it has made all of the difference in my life.
