Ancient City Appraisals

Very very poor appraisal. Did not use any recent comps and used comps 8+ months ago not even in the same calendar year. Does not accurately reflect current market and I offended that they appraised my house was below market price. Will forsure find another appraisal company would never trust this company!

Very very poor appraisal of what the CURRENT market is. Did not use any recent comps but used comps from 8+ months ago and completely different calendar year. Will be getting a new appraisal!!! I would never trust them to truly value a home!

I would have to agree with other reviews that recommend refusing this appraiser should your lender (ESPECIALLY if your lender is Vystar CU) choose them as your appraisal vendor. This appraiser severely undervalued our home. We earned an additional $50k worth of equity by going with another lender's appraiser.

If your lender sends this company out to do an appraisal, tell your lender you refuse and to send someone else. Our home "increased" a whopping $75,000 in value within 3 months by using a different appraiser. Our new built home is less than 2 years old. Went from -$25k in equity in a rising market using Ancient City Appraisals, to +$50k equity over what we paid using a different local appraiser.

Guy came to house for 10 minutes. I shared recent comps from my area. A week later they come back at least $35,000 under market. Did not use any of the comps just down the street. Used comps miles away. Only one complaint had a pool. They did not include all of the kitchen appliances. They said the home had not been updated in 13 years but had a complete remodel which included applicances, granite counters in kitchen and all baths, new water heater, and HVAC is three years old. They don’t take the time to take notes and just take pictures. Not sure how much time they spent on recent sales, current

I hired this firm to appraise my Father's home in 2016. They underestimated the value by >$50k and I almost sold too low. Thankfully I hired a competent Agent who knew better and we marketed at the correct value. I will never use these clowns again.

Excellent company, fair and accurate appraisals available to all of us when we consider buying or selling.Highly recommend.

They did not appraise my home for the actual price my neighbors are selling. Now I am stuck with my refinancing and need to order a new appraisal from a different company since Ancient City did not use any of the correct comparison and under estimated the actual value of my home.
