Lauren did my first set of headshots I ever took for my business, which I still use to this day and get constant compliments on. I've used her both professionally and personally for everything from my headshots to product shoots, and my niece's newborn pictures. She makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and keeps things both professional and light-hearted. I would highly recommend her for any of those special moments you need commemorated.

We were lucky enough to have Lauren as our wedding photographer in 2016. Even though there are many photographers to choose from in Charleston, her portfolios stood out to me the most. Plus, my husband and I were worried about unnatural photographs and she breezed ya through everything. She was wonderful to work with!

Lauren is an absolute dream! She is so energetic and welcoming and has one of those amazing "never met a stranger" personalities! She makes the whole process comfortable and fun and genuinely wants to capture the most special moments of your day. She has such a talent for natural light and candid moments which made for the most beautiful wedding photos we could ever wish for. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our experiences with Lauren. She is a kind-hearted, fun-loving soul with a passion for photography. Her style is soft and airy, and the fact that she uses both film and digital is mega-cool and gives her photos a diverse look which is refreshing. Also, the way she uses light is SO. YUMMY.

Lauren Jonas is one of my all-time favorite photographers to work with in Charleston. I've seen her work at least a dozen weddings. She takes her art SO seriously and is always pushing herself to be even better than she already is which is phenomenal. You'd never know it when you work with her though because she keeps everything fun. She's awesome.

Lauren is kind person with an amazing eye for detail. She photographed our wedding in late 2016 and we absolutely love all of our photos! The sessions with Lauren were fun too! She has a bright, energetic personality and she makes the shoot day flow. If you're shooting with her in Charleston, she knows the city inside and out! You can make silly requests like "pink walls only" and she will know where the best pink walls are located downtown.

When looking for a photographer for a wedding it's very important for you to connect on a personal level and I can now say that Lauren has become a dear friend in the process! From the get-go she wanted to fly to Boston to photograph our engagement session and to get to know us, which we appreciated so much.
