Services
Our service for children has grown out of the sincere love and concern for their development and assimilation into our ever-changing society. We have been educating children and their families for over 35 years throughout Southern California. Today, we provide childcare for more than 150 diverse children (infants and up), and encourage the individual role that each child brings to our school.
The Montessori education is not a system of teaching, but a method of helping children in the total development of their personality during this fundamental period of growth. The child must have freedom in order to develop his/ her personality to the fullest- a freedom that is achieved through work, order, and self-discipline.
The K-Step Montessori Inc. programs are among the top in the nation by earning the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation, the nation's leading organization of early childhood professionals. Terribly disappointed by this daycare, my son was in there for a few months, on toddler class he was well taken care of, but things started to change after he moved up to the fireflies class, he wasn’t happy to attend the class at all, every morning he would cry the second he walks into the class, of course we all know they will need some time to adjust to the changes, however after two months he still act the same, and we had notice he had changed a lot since the move, he wasn’t as happy when he came home, he doesn’t smile as much as before, diapers were not timely changed.
