McKenzie is an associate attorney at Kuhn, Heap & Monson. She concentrates her practice in areas of Estate Planning, Business Organizations, Contracts, and Real Estate. McKenzie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Denison University with a degree in History and Studio Art. She earned her Juris Doctor with Distinction from University of Iowa College of Law.

There are advantages to each. Depending upon your circumstances, a more comprehensive review would be best. However, at the risk of simplification, we recommend that a corporation is less expensive and best for single owners of active businesses and a limited liability company ("LLC") is best where there will be multiple owners of the business or when the entity is to own real estate.

I can’t say enough about my experience with this firm. I am in the process of opening a business and there were some pretty atypical issues with the lease of the building. From my first contact with McKenzie, I was confident that I was getting the best advice and legal representation out there. She was super personable and professional at the same time. Grant walked me through every aspect of the eventual contract and was always available to discus my many questions and concerns. Bob Heap was very professional and knowledgeable. We are complete strangers to the court system, but he was able to guide us and provide the answers to any questions that came about throughout the entire process.

Working with Grant from the firm has been an incredible experience in the home buying process! His responses were always timely, and he went above and beyond for us to make sure all our questions were answered (as first time home buyers, we had quite a few :)). I would absolutely recommend going with Kuhn, Heap, and Monson for all real estate transaction needs. McKenzie helped us with our estate planning, and there was not a single hiccup, but even if there had been, we're betting this team would have resolved it quickly!
