Tara is licensed by the State of Illinois and is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). She is a 2009 graduate of the IVCC Massage Therapy program. Over the past 10 years, Tara has attended seminars nationwide focused on various movement modalities. Her treatments are definitely not your usual massage.
She is certified in NeuroKinetic Therapy, Orthopedic Massage and Kinesio Taping. Tara has been educated in areas of assessing movement patterns, stretching, myofascial work and integrative activity. Tara enjoys educating her clients on what safety mechanisms their bodies provide and how to continue self care at home.

Services
Wear comfortable clothes. I like to have clients get up off the table and move around to integrate and challenge movement patterns. Gym clothes are ideal to do stretching and releases. That depends entirely on your goals. Many people feel better after one or two sessions. Realistically, it takes 4-6 sessions to uncover multiple patterns and get you moving more efficiently.
