In 1949, in the small, quaint, local community of Port Clinton, Ohio, on the coast of Lake Erie, fresh out of the Naval Air Corp and World War II, Jack Smith was faced with going into the insurance business or opening a mobile gas station. He chose the latter of the two, beginning what is now Port Clinton Auto Repair.

They were able to fit my service in with very minimal notice, adapting there business needs to accommodate my schedule and my needs for brakes on my truck. Everyone was super friendly and professional keeping me updated and even offering me a ride home if I could not find one. I Would highly recommend their business to others, it is nice to see their personal pride in their business and it reflects on the service they provided.

Lisa and Kim took care of all our Jeep needs. Our family bought a third car for our 18 year old son a 2006 Jeep Larado that had been only driven on the island. Turns out this car had more problems than we knew about it. Kim provided excellent service with-all of the jeep repairs. They went out of their way to meet me at various places when future problems arose with this car. They are great!!! They went above and beyond their means to provide excellent service for our third family car

Couldn't ask for better! Friendly, timely, professional, and affordable. Great experience having 4 tires installed, 4-wheel alignment, and full inspection. I waited while the car was serviced and brought back to the bay to inspect the work that was done. My service tech was Jonathon and he did an awesome job. He even spotted a missing piece, luckily nothing that would leave me stranded, and put on a replacement for me. Kim and Lisa were great to chat with and really love their business and their employees. I will tell everyone I can about how great of a job Port Clinton Auto Repair did on my 2010
