A comprehensive examination is the foundation of good dental care. It allows the doctor, hygienist and patient to get to know each other, and discuss the reason for your visit. It's important for you to let our staff know about any medical conditions you have, any allergies, and any prescription drugs you take.
A cavity is caused by the acid produced by the bacteria in your mouth and on your teeth. Brushing and flossing regularly, as well as regular dental cleanings will greatly reduce the likelihood that this acid will have the chance to erode a hole in your tooth (cavity). Unlike bone and skin, a tooth is not able to heal itself or fill in the hole.
A crown is a tooth-shaped cap that fits over a natural tooth that's been damaged by decay or injury past the point that it can be restored with a filling. The crown restores the function and appearance of the tooth while preventing future decay. If you have a tooth that's severely cracked or broken, or has a major cavity that hasn't left much of the natural tooth, a crown is the best type of treatment.

Doctor Jamharian is a thorough, efficient and conscientious dentist. I can honestly say that while a visit to the dentist has not been the highlight of my day, after my visits with him, I leave with a clearer and more knowledgeable outlook on my dental care and health. I had to have extensive work done and couldn’t have asked for better results. My follow up visits all have ended with a detailed explanation of what was done and a clear roadmap of what is to follow, leaving no room for apprehensiveness and doubt of what’s to take place.
