Services
To provide a place where children are able to cultivate their imaginations and dreams and make them into a reality. We aim to help each child develop the skills necessary to succeed, not only in the academics, but in life as well. For years, quality childcare has been hard to come by, and owner Leigh Anne Chitmon knew parents didn't want to drop their children off with just another babysitter or another daycare.
Our core curriculum is called the Mother Goose Time Curriculum. A nationally recognized curriculum, many activities focus on nurturing the entire child by taking their emotional, social, intellectual, and physical growth into account. This curriculum is designed specifically to help parents who have an active role in their children's education.
Serving as a creative outlet for many of our students, this learning center is a great place for children to express the ideas and the emotions that they have. We provide them with different materials that they can use for their art. The main benefits of this center are the improvement of motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
JitterBugs is a fitness program that offers 30-minute classes of exercises along with appropriate music for your children. The child's self-esteem is developed with the help of bi-annual on-stage performances. We aim to help your children build their character through group-related activities that emphasize teamwork.
The Children's Hour uses the Mother Goose Time Curriculum as the core of our educational programs. In the program, we emphasize art, active learning, physical education, nutrition, music, and more activities that help your child acquire all the skills they need to succeed once they enter formal schooling.

We LOVE The Children's Hour!!! We have had our 2 children here for a couple of years now. Our kids have had amazing teachers throughout our experience with minimal turnover. Management is very easy to communicate with and is quick to make any necessary changes. My kids have learned SO much throughout their time here. This preschool also recently earned their 3 stars for Better Beginnings. Lots of hard work & very much deserved. Keep up the great work!!

I found this center to be friendly, clean and staffed with caring teachers. I especially enjoy the extra activities for the kids and parents. I have attended book fairs and trunk or treat for the past two years with my granddaughter and everyone always had a great time. Just this past weekend the families and staff attended a naturals baseball game for the schools fundraiser. It is like being part of a family. I'm happy my granddaughter has such a great place to spend her days.

My son has been attending this daycare for 10 months. Since that time his language(both verbal and sign language) has taken off, he loves his teachers, and all the art they do. Last week they did a science project with a dinosaur egg, placing it in water and over the week it slowly hatched. He started when he was 14 months and is now 22 months old. He is thriving here, and I feel good about leaving him there for 8+ hours a day.

I dropped my 14-month-old daughter at The Children's Hour in Bentonville. I have to admit I was feeling a little uneasy about the place for about a week. Now I know why. I returned an hour later after dropping my daughter off; I wanted to watch LIVE feed from the mangers office....I'm glad I did. I witnessed one of the teachers there in the Waddlers Room abuse three children. Teacher looked highly frustrated, she was picking up all the toys in the room. A child was pulling up a piece of a puzzle mat from the floor and she stomped on the pieces to deter him from pulling up more. Odd I

I have been at The Children's Hour for just over a mo. My son and us have been so impressed with everything. We had to pull my son from another preschool and needed care ASAP. When we called the Children's Hour they really went above and beyond to help. I called at 4:30pm the day I pulled him and the lady was able to get me in for a tour at 5:00pm, everyone else we called said it would have to be the next day or longer. I was happy with how the center looked and how nice everyone was on the tour. The only thing I found was they had some negative reviews online, after asking about this, the Asst

My child was in "the children's hour" for 6 hours. I removed her promptly because they were not taking care of her like they should. When I went to drop her off no one said a word to me they just ignored the fact that I hadn't been there before. They didn't make me feel like my child was going to be taken care of. I also went to check on her at 3 and She still had a jacket on and it was 89 degrees outside. She is hot natured, which they would've known if they would have bothered to ask me anything when I dropped her off or to even talk to me when I said something. She was sweaty and hot. I never

So far, so good. I'm a pretty picky father. I have yanked my daughter out of a few different programs, some even accredited. I ended up picking The Children's Hour because it was conveniently located on the way to work. She is happy when I pick her up. She usually doesn't want to leave either. I'm actually shocked how much she likes it - because she switched from staying with her grandmother to having to go to daycare. I also like the way each of the teachers speak to my daughter too. They seem to be laid back, while maintaining a positive and upbeat tone. Plus, they are patient with me :) I usually
