Services
Master Daniel Delenela is the Head Instructor and Owner of Round Rock Karate Academy, LLC. Master Delenela began his martial arts training in 1991 and achieved his Cho Dan in 1994. He currently holds the rank of Oh Dan (5th Degree Black Belt) and Sa Bom (Master Instructor) in the Korean traditional art of Tang Soo Do.
My eight year old daughter has been a student of Daniel Delenela's for seven months now, and she loves learning Tang Soo Do. Instead of something she is indifferent to, or that is imposed upon her, she asks if she can attend extra classes, and has on occasion gone six days in one week. Daniel is absolutely wonderful with the students as he offers encouragement and instruction.
Serving the Round Rock, Texas and surrounding areas, our Little Dragons program at Round Rock Karate Academy is a perfect activity for children ages 4 to 6 years old. This is a martial arts program designed to teach children important life skills in a fun, exciting, and enriching manner. This is a built-in process integrated in the instruction.

My daughter has been a student of Round Rock Karate Academy for 10 years. Under the direction of Master Delenela, her self-confidence, patience, and focus have all increased. She is much more willing to take on new challenges. Respect is a BIG thing in this school. There is something about training under Master Delenela that can switch her mood … my daughter can walk into class in a testy mood, but almost 100% of the time, she comes out smiling and feeling good about herself. It’s like she has been reset. Round Rock Karate Academy is the school for us!

I've been training with Master Delenela for over ten years, so I hope to give an insider glimpse into what training at the academy is like. It's a very encouraging environment. Students are treated respectfully and Master Delenela is one of the most patient teachers I have seen. He is funny and knows when to blend measures of humor and empathy to get the best efforts out of the kids when needed.
The karate itself is traditional yet understandable and relatable. You learn technical theory and some Korean vocabulary but it is integrated well into the physical lessons and applications. Master Delenela

My grandson began his journey here when he was 10. At the time he was a bit shy, not athletic or confident. Four years later he just tested for his Black Belt. He is become very strong and self confident. I can not say enough wonderful things about Round Rock Karate Academy and their instructors. It has made so many positive changes in his life. I know it will continue to be a positive influence in his continued growth and confidence.

We have our grandson full time and decided to take him to this karate school for self-esteem and discipline, before the virus pandemic we would sit in and watch the classes and loved how Master Delenela and his instructors work with the children as a class and individually. He is funny and makes the parents laugh, it is entertaining to sit and watch him with the kids. I highly recommend this Karate School for any age.
Currently we are working with Master Delenela on a virtual platform as we cannot go into the public right now due to the covid-19 virus. We feel very fortunate to have such dedication

We’ve been members of this school for a few years and are so appreciative of instruction from an actual master instructor and not just student black belts. There is a reason why this school keeps winning the best martial arts school in round rock awards. They really are the best! We checked out many other karate places and this one was the best from the location to instruction and student/parent community. Definite recommend!

One of THE BEST Martial Art School. It's not only about Martial Art and Technique that you learn here, it Body Mind and Spiritual connection and mostly important the Quality Mind Set.
We did shop around different martial art school but we found Round Rock Karate Academy to best fit the Vision and concept of Martial Art. Sam Bo Nim is a Great person and the Instructors are so great as well. Not everyone can instruct the class, instructors needs to be certified so you are in good hands no matter whom you work with.

We went to several other karate studios and for us it was instantly obvious that this one was far above and beyond the rest. Master Delenela pours his heart and soul into teaching the art and has gone to great lengths to keep the children engaged and excelling even through the quarantine and mess of a year. The other assistant teachers are fantastic as well. My son absolutely loves going, and enjoys the zoom classes as well; it is the highlight of his week.
